I was led to follow this series after many prayers, the Lord led me to you. After watching and taking notes I was absolutely stunned to learn that I have been dealing in a major toxic relationship for over 50 years. It actually ripped the rug right out from under me, and I actually became ill. I now know, this was what He wanted me to have-a gift of release, wisdom and, subsequently peace. I am comitted to this path, No matter what Satan throws at me. You have no idea what this means to me, thank you is not enough. ❤

Consider the possibility that negative/destructive thoughts, emotions and desires come from our spiritual enemies and we have the power and authority to resist and reject them in the name of Jesus. Choose to only receive and embrace positive, constructive thoughts, emotions and desires that come from above. Best wishes to all.

People who are grounded in their faith are rare like unicorns. At least where I am. But thanks!

I set a timer throughout the day to know "what I'm thinking about" if I'm having life giving or negative thoughts and replace those. I'll do it until I no longer catch myself having a negative thought hopefully but at that specified time anyway. 🙂😇

That really stood out to me when you said it's time to replace those thoughts of inadequacy with Christ's sufficiency it's not merely a clever rhyme there is some strong truth in that. I've heard that in a similar way a while ago but haven't been able to figure out how to make that a thing until recently . So true! I don't like feeling that way and I am tired of it. I feel like God has helped me improve on my spiritual and emotional Journey but more progress needs to be made

@@Volleyball_Chess_and_Geoguessr to a degree yes, but there is an unhealthy way of doing that. I certainly has been guilty of that before. I think feeling inadequate to the point where it's a form of depression is not biblical or healthy. That's what I meant and that's what I'm assuming she meant as well. That's what it means to have Christ's sufficiency where I have a Biblical level of inadequacy in my own works but that I rely upon his work for adequacy

@@adorkychristiandad I agree it's unhealthy. It seems biblical to me to think of yourself as dirt. There is one story with Jesus where a girl asks for help and Jesus says no, he came for the Israelites and then she says something like, even dogs get scraps thrown to them, and I guess that pleased Jesus so he decided to help her.

@@Volleyball_Chess_and_Geoguessr I disagree with that interpretation. If you would like a clear presentation of what that encounter is I suggest you look up someone like John MacArthur. However, the way I would paraphrase that is Jesus is speaking to her a gentile Woman as a mixture between testing her Faith while also testify to her his initial mission of reaching out to the Jewish people he certainly was not a person who delighted in people thinking themselves as dirt, if he were such a person then why would he have been the most compassionate towards those who were treated like dirt? The way he spoke to the leper, blind man, this woman, a woman hemorrhaging, Mary magdalene, samaritan's, etcetera in the face of opposition from the Pharisees and Sadducees, who had no problem telling people and treating people that way, is proof of that.

The "renew your mind" course is great. It's definitely work to renew your mind especially if you have a mental stronghold but it's so worth it. Being careful what you are feeding your mind makes a difference too. (Edited to add the word "it's" for better clarification)

This perectly fits my "aide". Im disabled and terminally ill. She has not been here in 2 weeks, and she hust kuves in the house in the front. I know i dont trust her any more, and can't believe anything she says. I realize she has absolutely bo compassion or empathy. She doesn't even know what these nean, literally

Jesus give me grace and endurance this Christmas. As a single mother my number one priority, are my sons. Both of them are autistic so they require a lot from me. God give me strength as I struggle to provide for them. My faith in you is still strong! Even as I struggle to pay rent every month and I struggle to buy groceries for my children, I KEEP FAITH in you LORD. Jesus hear my prayers I’m so overwhelmed and discouraged because I’m also battling lupus and have heart issues. Lord give me strength because I want to give up. 😢

I should've leave a long time ago, even without nothing. I could've spare myself and my husband from hurting each other. When he doesn't communicate for months after a fight. Then come back and gives me material things. He gets that idea from a co-worker, he tells him that when him and his wife fights. There will be no communication for months. It's very unhealthy. I want for my husband to be happy and healthy and I should focus on building myself and to become a true child of God. I want to become a true child of God.

Thank you, Kris. Can you make a video about how to cope with perfectionism at a Christian? I constantly feel this need to be absolutely sinless and perfection 24/7 at all costs because I constantly have a super extreme fear of God that if I'm not giving my 100% and obeying Christ to the fullest extent or even just having a moment of tiresome, God will immediately send me all the way to hell and I will burn and die. I constantly have this perfectionistic mindset and I'm always just so genuinely worried. As a 16 year old boy, I really struggle with perfectionism as it relates to seeing the kingdom of God, I don't really know how to respect myself or value myself and I literally feel obligated to sacrifice everything, including things that may not actually be sinful such as relationships, video games, online friends, hobbies, etc. I don't even watch any pornography or demonic things like that in any way, shape or form, but I genuinely feel like that perfectionism is getting so extreme that it'll make me have a disorted view in some way, shape or form to the point where I look at something that's not sinful or demonic as the unforgiveable sin. I can't do anything I love without feeling like I've committed a sin or feeling the need to be perfect for God. I always fail to realize that not everything non-related to Christ to the fullest extent is sinful and demonic and should be avoided all costs like playong Minecraft with my friends, enjoying relationships I have hear on earth, etc and I simply let all these thoughts consume me to the fullest extent because I have strong faith that it's the perfect solution. Is this too extreme, am I being too hard on myself, or am I doing the necessary things?

Do remember that as a Christian you are forgiven…through the blood of Jesus Christ and not by how perfect you are. Even when we stumble…He still loves us and forgives us while we learn to do better. Try to extend that same grace to yourself, the same way Jesus does for us and we should for one another. ❤️

Only God and Jesus You sound like gorgeous sweet young man!!We are mere mortals and no matter how we try to be good and sinless we are unknowingly and without any malice intended we will sin and if more people behaved at just a fraction of how you say you live the world would be a much better place!! You are a teenager and if you don't make your lesson learning mistakes you will maybe blame God and Jesus which is wrong ?? Allow yourself some fun -for your own mental health !!
