My Neko Sugar Girls Story Thing Or Whatever: So, almost 2 months ago, I was talking to a friend about random stuffs on Discord, he sent me a video of the full Nyan Neko Sugar Girls series and he said to watch it, I clicked on it and saw how long it is then I just decided “oh why the hell not, it’ll be funny to laugh at how terrible this is anyway” then I watched it. At first I was laughing at how terrible it is but then I began to unironically love it, as you said in the video, it has a great character dynamic and the jokes are on point, then that god damn ending scene came and I actually teared up a little at it, even though it was made to be shitty, I still kinda grew attached to the characters because of their many fun-filled adventures they brought us across After that, I just began to truly love it But then, literally 2 hours after I finished watching it, that friend sent me another video, it was of a video that literally only released a few minutes ago And it was the virus PSA I really didn’t know how to feel, that odd experience of finding this thing just before it returned after so many years made me feel weird... but extremely happy I know this sounds stupid but I strangely feel like I may have had a part in it returning? Like me watching it somehow caused a chain event that made it come back? I know it’s ridiculous but it’s fun to think about In the end, I’m just kind of in love with the series now because of all the things it managed to do so correctly Aaaand that was My Neko Sugar Girls Story Thing Or Whatever Hope you enjoyed reading

The funny thing is my first experience with it was far less magical. I got suggested to do a video on it a long time ago (back when I made... Lesser quality stuff.) I watched it initially and thought it was garbage, and that was it. But as time went on, I began referencing it more and more. I started activelly showing it to my friends just to get their reaction. Before I knew it, I had formed a weird ironic adoration for it. It's kinda nuts that when that PSA was released, I remember feeling ridiculously happy to just see it again. I liked reading your story though. Kinda neat you had such a unique experience with it.

Late to the party here, but I love hearing about internet gems like this. Even if they're super cringey and bad, as long as the creator had fun with it and people found enjoyment in it, than it's worth the cringe. We need to get this show a Netflix revival now! Also, appreciate the Mario Party 7 music. That game deserves more love!

Honestly that track, "Ready, Set, Fun!" is just a really fun track to use in videos. And I agree, 7 is underrated. (It's actually my personal favorite Mario Party game. I also really like 8 and DS.)

You know, I'm pretty sure part of it IS nostalgia, but I think 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and DS are all probably the best in the series. With 9 forward, the series went in a direction I wasn't a fan of personally. (Super is getting there, but the board design is rather bland overall.) And yeah, I am shocked it isn't used more. I guess people prefer using Mario party 1-3's osts a little more.

Certain things are a bit too "perfect" like the hitoshi american flag bit and some specific jokes. Biggest flag is when hitoshi's voice actor laughs during his cover of "I want it that way.". Plus NNSG's art style is so bad that its definitely a calculated and skillfully bad. Its wonderous.

The shame in his voice when he said he was once a weeb broke my heart.

My favorite part is in the last scene where you can clearly hear the voice actor for the Nurse dropping the mic and they just kept it in. XD

i watched this with my friends on call one night and it got to the part where raku chan got bit and screamed for a minute straight, and my friend laughed so hard they threw up

It was just a regular day. Me and my friend were discussing hillarious shitposts and she sent me Nyanneko sugar girls. She always sends me videos that I like, so I clicked on it. After watching, my brain told me to keep going, even when I tried clicking off. I eventually began truly loving it, developing a crush on Hitoshi-San, amd buying merch. I even have my own OC, Miyamoto-Chan, the enthusiatsic dandere. That’s my Nyan Neko sugar girls story, goodbye (walks out of the room)

I’m gonna watch this with my best friend soon, I’ve explained I’ve watched this over 6 times, she’s very confused by that. But she won’t be confused after seeing how amazing this show is.

There's also a series called Nya Neko Sugar Girls Mayonaka, which is genuinely better and has a kind of compelling story. Its increas in quality makes it both better and worse.

Last video I saw of yours I said I would watch all future videos. Sir I am not disappointed

This really has some insane ironic charm to it. Hated it at first, but started to invest myself in it.

the art and animation style is IDENTICAL to the one i used when i tried to make a magical girl anime in 2017

I will go back to this show and just laugh for a long time. It’s seriously so good.

I hate that I'm just now hearing about this series...The poor quality and overall look of the show is oddly nostalgic and I wish I had seen it during it's prime. 😔

My friends and I liked this anime so much we made an even worse clone of it called pinku Chan no broken. Nyah Neko sg brings back so many memories

i remember seeing this in my reccomended for the first time, which was actually pretty recent (probably like a year ago or so) and i watched it, and loved it so ironically is it bad i wanna draw the characters now

This series is literally like kkhta. starts off badly produced then hits you in the feels

It’s a parody of terrible anime fan art, which used to be way more common. It’s purposely, utterly shithouse, and I want everyone too young to get the joke to stay the fuck off my lawn. **Check out Tokyo Crystal Mew, for an example of the kind of stuff they’re sending up here. I dare you.
