I have about 1000 hours in rocket league and from my experience while learning mechanics is important learning proper rotation is the utmost important. Hope you’re climbing the ranks

@@mikeytockstein6553 Exactly, rotation is what made me reach Champion, even if I don't know how to do fancy mechanics. So, just rotation and shadow defense.

Big fan of how you break stuff down, Mizu. I was finally able to make some breakthroughs with dribbling/flicking and air dribbles because of your videos. I just do that stuff in free play for now but getting more confident in my abilities day by day. Originally caught you on Facebook of all places. My best tip if you do this for the first time is turning shadows on, which makes it much easier to see when your wheels hit the ground.

Mizu its every slightly quicker if u jump and lean forwards at the same time (or hold forwards before u jump) makes a difference in high lvl lobbies but lower down it wont matter whatsoever, love ur content nonetheless n wish to q or team w u in the future ;)

@MizuRL, should you make a new version for 2023 I have a tip for the content. When learning the wave dash I was struggling A LOT with the second part (lean forward and flip). Only after struggling for a few days I figured it out that my controller's dead-zone was increased because I was backflipping on fast aerials. After I started leaning forward more aggressively I started almost consistently doing the dashes.

Everytime I hit the x just fast and slightly I jump high

I tried doing the double dump as soon as the back touched the ground but it would just transition into a front flip

Push forward on your stick as you land

I started on the speed flip vid and got here but the wall dashes look goofy XD

I have tried the whole hold jump and you go higher. It seems how hard you tap jump cause every time I jump, it jumps high. If I tap it, it jumps low. Could that be a problem with controller or that isn't exactly true?

Square if you're playing on playstation, x if you are playing on Xbox, and y if you are on switch. I don't know about pc.

It's not working reliably for me, even with the fastest jump tap I'm still getting too much air time and my rear wheels don't hit the ground fast enough to get the second jump, idk what I'm doing wrong

It's better to teach this as an incomplete front flip than to wait for your wheels to touch the ground. If you're waiting for your wheels to touch the ground you're just gonna fuck it up. It's way more consistent to say you should front flip when you're almost at the ground. When you think of it this way It's way more consistent. At least for me

Why am I so slow w this, doing just three regular flips gets me super sonic to mid field from goal in 4 seconds and doing 3 wave dashes gets me same distance supersonic in 7 seconds My first and second jumps are up in the air for so long compared to the video anyone know a fix?
