@@MarxMan0o i got hit and dragged 34 meters by a car, its left me essentially disabled from the waist up. My arms cant support their own weight anymore. amongst a plethora of other issues

Yes and no. There’s surgery’s that could be done. But the NHS won’t.

Another UIM! But with a controller? Wild. I also have a UIM series going and my ruleset was designed to give me the fewest exceptions or need for them while leaning into the fact that rs3 is “ezscape”. Basically I have one major rule: I cannot STORE things in the bank. Opening the bank, unnoting and noting, using presets, all of that stuff is allowed. I just cant store things in the bank. I think this rule works out nicely utilizing very cool rs3 features while still limiting my storage significantly. OSRS has better house storage and better hidey holes, I get to use the bank to note and unnote. My only other major rule is no standard inventory slot beasts of burden like the terrorbird, tortoise, pig, or yak.

@@PatChatGaming Herblore and unnoting bones mostly. Or noting and unnoting gems for crafting at the same time. One button noting of fish after fishing and cooking them. Thats about it really. I havent used them for pvm yet and dont think I will as they can be a bit finnicky with an empty bank. The realest answer is mostly herblore though.

Awesome to see someone else playing as a uim in RuneScape 3! I'm also doing that. I'd be happy to share any sorts of tips and tricks I've discovered.

Common misconception about UIM's is that they can note items with bankers. In fact, they can only un-note items (which is not possible on RS3 and would understandably need bank use, but they cannot note items which you mentioned they could). UIM's can only note herbs and other farming products at tool-leprichauns, and they can note potions by decanting them at the decanter. All other noted items you ever see that UIM's have come from noted monster drops or boss rewards. There is no way to note logs, for example, on a UIM, as you showed early in the video. and they would never be able to note limestone as you did in the video. They are also unable to use item storages such as seed vaults, etc. All forms of food are also completely unable to be noted on UIM's are must be strategically planned or obtained noted through monsters that drop noted food. I understand these are your own rules in the series with your own personal limitations and exceptions, but I figured it would be worth clarifying incase you misunderstood how UIM worked in oldschool.

actually thats great thankyou for clarifying, i probably should have done more research before starting it. but i was getting sick of pvm and a little over eager. Ill give it some thought over whether or not its worth changing the rules ive laid to be closer to the OSRS experience, feel like ive done enough now that it'd warrant re starting the run though which id rather not do

yeah, ive been doing everything on PC with a controller since july 2 years ago. so i may have a slight advantage on click accuracy compared to someone picking it up day one

I feel like EOC is pointless until they upgrade the movement system away from click base to something more like WASD. You have to surge, evade, run around so many times just to fight these new bosses, and it always feels janky and clunky. Props to the people who make the end game content look easier than it actually is.

Movement and click accuracy are definitely where I struggle most, but EOC does add a decent extra layer to combat imo with defensives and getting out a decent damage rotation. feels good when you take a few seconds off your kill time

So i quit the day EOC came out anyone wanna duo/trio RS3? just us two against the world?

Pretty good dang episode. A couple of recommendations I would give is the text you added in was sort of hard to read. I would make the color brighter and maybe add a border around it so it pops better. You could also make it bigger in the max guild section above your character as well. The fireworks were pretty loud in that one part, but you might have already fixed that audio thing. Lastly what do you use to record footage? Cause that one discord ping came through so either you can have it muted through streamer mode or there is a plugin for obs where you can separate all the different audio channels on your computer so you can pick and choose what gets recorded. Overall it was very good.

I love both versions of the game, I’m not a fan of MTX or the heavy PvM focus. But there’s still so much to love about both versions of the game. RS3 just seems a little more viable on controller when combat is factored in.

The best way to play runescape 3, is to log out and play osrs. I have a 20 year old account, maxed and wealthy that sits and does nothing because after EOC it ruined the game. trying to hard to be WoW.

EoC has changed a lot since it was first released. It’s still tick based so it’s not really that much like wow. Plus because I’m locked to controller. I’d rather push a bunch of buttons than worry about click accuracy. The game is brilliant in its own right, it it’s not your thing that’s perfectly fine.
