Alek, I stumbled by accident, 2 weeks ago, across one of your videos, and it captured my attention. I set up an account the next day, and started going about creating designs. Today, after 25 designs created, and no advertising spend, I got my first order for $75... though you are strongly against it, as I am finally able to advertise, I put a small amount into it so I could see what is being searched the most, and what is getting the most clicks per view. Perhaps when I have a bit more success, and you'd like a chat, you know where I am. Also documenting my journey with my first video uploaded today :)

I have had my shop open for two years, and I barely had any sales. Surprisingly, a few weeks ago during my birthday, I got two orders, and since then, I have started seeing sales coming in every day. It's not much so far, but it still encourages me. I guess that happened because I made K-pop merch, and that artist is having a world tour right now. I'm worried the sales will die down once the tour ends, so I need to find another niche to help my sales keep going.

Is selling Premium Branding Mockups a profitable business Model?...

  • @frameout2035

There is something to say about creating many listings, because you'll eventually do the work to become an artist, but if you please everyone, eventually you'll please no one. People come to your shop, because they feel connected to your work and how much connection are you willing to fake to just please a customer? Why do you like a brand? Because of the chemistry and the image they want to create. Everyone can become a client of Nike, but Nike markets to a client they resonate with. Be careful you don't make a golden prison where people might get a burn out, because they want to please a costumer they don't even like.

Alek, I did some trial run ordering some t-shirts through printify and the shipping estimates were pretty off. I already run an Etsy shop were I make I my own stuff and can't imagine customers being happy with the slower shipping/inaccurate estimates for POD shirts, especially during the holiday season. What do you do when this happens? I even tried paying for expedited shipping and my shirts still took 5-7 days to arrive.

I haven't experienced this with Printify, all my orders ship and arrive quickly. As long as you set clear expectations people are usually quite happy.

My shop has only made 25 sales in 2 yrs and I list daily...about 700 active listings...i am spending so much money monthly ( am from South Africa...and the $/ Rand exchange 20-1...so spend hundreds of rands for listings, canva, placeit etc...with nothing coming in. I am desperate....I need to succeed, but feel invisible. Do not have any funds for courses etc. I follow you religiously... thank you. Christa ForeverYoungDesignSA

I’m pretty sure I’ve watched all of your videos and at least 10 of your videos 10 times already. You are a big advocate for not using ads. But recently I ran into another successful Etsy Seller and he was a big advocate for using ads to boost, clicks and rankto get sales. Can you speak on this briefly?

Bro just tell me this. If you are making multiple millions out of this skill then why it was necessary for you to open up an youtube channel? Don't you think sharing all this information and tactics will make the market harder for you as a bunch more people will enter? Yeah, the way you speak is great and you might also be right. But as a business person there is no need for you to do this, only if you want to maximise proifit with the youtube channel and the online course. But then again, why would you do that, why would you put so much time in making these videos, as long as you were already making millions? Couldn't this be detrimental to your shops?

Hello, Alek! Thank you for your work! You know how to inspire and motivate. I'm trying to create designs based on your lessons, but since I don't have any design skills, it's still hard) for example, I can't make each letter a different color, as it's popular on Etsy. maybe you can help me how to do it? Thank You!
