The Best Way To Learn English (In my humble opinion.)

In this English lesson I will explain what I think is the best way to learn English in 2020.
As many of you know I am an actual teacher. I have used both my teaching knowledge and my own experience as a language learner (French) to create this English learning plan.
To be honest, I am calling this video, "The Best Way to Learn English", but there is nothing really amazing or remarkable about this plan. It is however a very thorough approach to learning a language, and it will help you learn a lot of English if you stick to the plan for a whole year.
It is based on the concept that you should be spending an equal amount of time reading in English, writing in English, listening to English, speaking in English, and building your English vocabulary.
I think since there are 5 days in the week, and there are five areas you should focus on, it makes a lot of sense to focus on one of those things each day of the week.
So essentially you will use Mondays to focus on Reading, Tuesdays to focus on Writing, Wednesdays to focus on Listening, Thursdays to focus on Speaking, and Fridays to focus on Vocabulary Building.
You won't of course use your entire study time each day just focusing on one thing, but you will spend the majority of time each day focusing on one aspect of learning English.

Personally, I learned english by watching dozens of english youtube video (mostly gaming) every single day in my free time. After some time I switched the language on all of my apps and social media sites to english, started reading and writing english comments on youtube and started talking to native speakers on various social media sites. Just complete immersion. And what do you know, after about 2-3 years i became fluent in english. Im fairly certain that, had I only learned english in school, I would even be close to the level im on right now. My literal thoughts are in English a lot of times lol. I've been learning english like thia for about 5 years now and theres basically close to no word or sentence I can't understand anymore. Obviously, my english isn't perfect and it probably never will be, as I don't live in an english speaking country and I still have to speak my own language all day. But im not aiming for more. Im at a level at which I can talk about pretty much anything with an english speaking person and Im quite happy with that. And besides, I already got those straight As in english, so theres no need for me to do any better. (I don't even know why im watching this tbh)

When reading, specially in other languages, i always use 3 colors of highlighters: 1 for vocabulary, 1 for important passages and 1 for super important observations. After i finish reading, i often transcribe them to a notebook. This helps me a lot for understanding the book, remembering things and learning new vocabulary. Also, if you want to revisit the book, it`s a time-saver just having the necessary passages highlighted and classified.
