Although the film credits give the year as 1983 (probably when the film was first released) the concert was in November 1981 - I was there! :)

Damn I should have watched the whole thing before I commented! I was right, it was Crusher! Played with him for five years in Wilson Pickett’s band. He was a force of nature! Also played with Danny a couple of shows.

I love Otis Rush and I love the song "Crosscut Saw" but I'd have to agree, this is not the best version and far from it. Otis' best version is on his first live album, "So Many Roads" on Delmark. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lqlop82ml63Ke7Q.html
