@@thetruthspeaker1978 and you know as you drove one? Sorry to say but that’s the standard bullshit comment! It‘s quite a reliable good engine. Never had as few issues than with this one! If I meet other E60/ E61/ E63 & E64 drivers, it’s mostly V8 drivers complaining about leaking water tubes, valve stem seals, water pump, etc. The S85 for sure has no more issues as any other BMW engine. Reasons why they blow up are because the cars got too cheap and every idiot without respect for the tech behind can abuse them without maintenance and/ or improper driving. It‘s not an inline-six. No one that affords an Lexus LFA or Carrera GT would treat their cars without maintenance as some BMW drivers do. Of course you rather hear from the few youtubers that shout out and complain about their blown up engine rather that normal drivers without any issues.

Lamborghini from that era had the best sound. Murcielago's V12 is still unsurpassed as best of all, and this 5.0 Gallardo is definitely the best sounding V10

They stress test their engines and equipment to the extreme, even on the BMW B58 platform, they had to disassemble and build it from scratch with better materials and assembly to fit their quality standards.. Any of their model assemblies aren't any worse without the help of Yamaha. Get out of here.

In my opinion the best sounds are these m5 v10, lamborghini gallardo 5.0, porsche carrera gt and lexus lfa

This is why the E60 M5 is my favourite car. I fear it may not have a place in the future, but it has a place in my heart. You see, manufacturers may never create such an amazing car like that again. Long live the E60 M5 and it's fans 🙏 💪

Aston martins are not even CLOSE to being the best sounding v12's out there, v12's overall doesnt sound as much or as rad as v10's and thats thanks to their displacement. Yes a v12 can sound rad, but dont compare it to a v10 soundwise LOL.
