It took them 27 years to do it... that's when Toy Story first came out. I think they ran out of ideas even though they were doing so good with Moana and Encanto... good stories without needing an actual official "bad guy"... then they fall back to old themes, old characters. Boring.

@@danishsayyed7597 No Ralph was never the bad guy, or enjoyed pretending to be, it was a role he played and he didn't want to act like one anymore. It wasn't a "maybe i don't have to be the bad guy" as in literally being one, but being treated like one by everyone and acting like one despite being a good guy. Esentially Whereas the Wolf enjoys being bad until he's shown the praise being good can bring. Or to make things simplier because I suck at explaining things. Ralph was a good guy who had to act like a bad guy due to a role and was treated like a bad guy, but didn't want to be seen that way. He was never a true villain. The Wolf is a bad guy who is treated like a bad guy because he is a bad guy, but at some point wants to change that. He was still originally a villain. It's more like Megamind OP was right

Well, it's a straight-to-tv feature, but they could've rone it better. The graphics is way worse than even in the first movie. They could've done it in a different, less demanding, maybe a paint/cellshaded-like kind for a spin-off, but they went with the old style and way less processing power. And then, screwed up the plot. It feels as if a 20-minute episode of a series was stretched into a full-length movie.

It feels like we’re finally getting out of the late 2010s slump in animation quality, things actually feel experimental and…animated! Stylistic variety is always important for art and for a while there it felt like everything was more a cash grab than a story that needed to be told, or artistry that needed to be expressed. Also, I feel like I’m the only one but I think it’s kinda nice they returned to the iconic ice age 3, that movie was a big part of my childhood.

The new ice age movie sucked, sorry to say. Disney bought over the studio that made ice age. the storyline was weak and the animation was worse than the first ice age movies animation. They even forgot the iconic squirrel at the beginning of each film, you can still give it a watch, but just know its a bit depressing to watch due to all the changes. The voice actors also changed (except bucks). Im really disappointing in disney for ruining the franchise I grew up with.

Bad guys is a comic book series. Up to vol 14 atm. It's funny and brilliant to read to kids

Bad guys and Master animations are really good even thought the stories do not seem unique. I look forward for Gru, Bad guys and Sonic 2. The Ice age animation looks unfinished. The characters were made well, but you can see that they do not fit into the environment.

These all look exceptionally well done. I think I’m deafly looking forward to the next spider-verse film, followed by Master. I’ve seen a trailer a few times before but still yet to see any release date. It looks exceptionally well done and even it’s just a clip from this apparent film, it already hooks you really deeply.

Eh, I think the ice age one looks a bit cheap compared to the other trailers. The animation just looks too much like a TV series, not an feature length film Quite ashamed really because the films before it had at least great animation despite only really liking the 1st film and not the sequels

I actually feel like its a good allegory to having Autism during puberty. Theres a point where you stop feeling cute to others, and you have to keep your emotions in check, lest you panic and become belligerent and animalistic (ie have sensory overload or a tantrum). I have aspergers and thats legit what it feels like sometimes. Lifes just a matter of keeping The Beast in check or at least in balance when theres Work to be done.

@@thomaslamson299 I didn’t think about that before but it is quite similar. Except with autism it only really happens when you’re angry or upset (atleast for me). I didn’t really have any symptoms of autism until I was 10 and started puberty, that was the year it all went to crap. Just fyi, when referring to someone with autism it’s called a meltdown, a tantrum is what little kids have. A lot of people with autism can find it kinda offensive as it compares adults to that of little children. Like if you’re fine with it then whatever but I just thought I should let you know so you don’t accidentally hurt anyone’s feelings by calling it that.

@@rachelcookie321 For me, I have a meltdown when I'm overwhelmed or pinned down. I can't tolerate it if I can't escape, or if a person won't stop screaming at me or even something else. I have a service dog for medical reasons, but he also gives me an excuse to exit a situation quickly (like, I need to take him out), and strangers don't question it because he's a large pit bull.

I love how master barely shows any spoilers in the actual movie, I also love the art style, I think it could be by the same artists behind Spider-Man into the spider verse (and the upcoming Spider-Man ITSV movie)

It took 4 years for the production only of the first one. I do think this second one is already coming too early. The first one was good because it took the time to be made, they didn't make a quick and easy spider-man movie, because they know everyone is going to watch anyway, they used that fact to make a really good, but really risky movie, with a totally different art style and way of storytelling. By announcing a second one so quickly, I'm scared Sony will come to make a much more mediocre movie, based on the fact the first one was so popular, and people will come to watch the second for sure. But I'm wrong. My expectations are really high for this one.

Were you asleep for the first 5 years of the last 10 (aka a decade)? Most of these movies are crap... the plotlines for most of them must have come from some 5 year old's crayon storyboard. Recycling characters that have been around for 27 years (Buzz Lightyear). Spiderman, Ice Age, Hotel Transylvania, Minions... just riding the same old same old.... Spiderman movies are so overdone... there's so many spidermans out there now that it's pathetic. There's a saying... "Three's the limit" that goes for movie series too. Never make more than 3 unless it's from a book series... but you better damn well do the book justice...

Ive been looking forward to Turning Red, DC League and The Bad Guys for awhile now!! Cant wait for their releases!

I actually feel like Turning Red could be a good allegory to having Autism during Puberty. Theres a point where you stop feeling like an endearing and lovable nerd to others, and you have to keep your emotions in check, lest you panic and become belligerent and animalistic (ie have sensory overload or a tantrum). I have aspergers and thats legit what it feels like sometimes. Sometimes, Life's just a matter of keeping The Beast in check or at least in balance when theres Work to be done.

Honestly it looks like a movies that has been made with a lot of love and then flops

"do i look like i need your power" got me all hyped up about sonic 2

The Bad guys look semi-ok aside the overlong shark-joke. Master has a good trailer. Nothing we didn't see, but Iron Fist was live action, so why not.

Fireheart looks really cute. A '' Everyone laugh of me but i will show them that i can realise my dream '' story like Mulan who is brave and saved her country. It's like that but with a small town and a kid who wants to be a firewomen. Nice animation, pretty music, action and drama. This movie looks good :D I'm gonna watch it for sure!

So basically, it's a ripoff of Mulan, which was dated to begin with. Jesus Christ, how many of these "girls can do anything" stories do we need to have shoved down our throats, as if it's still 1890?

@@jbrisby As many as it takes until finally the sexism of the whole world ends and men finally understand that women are capable as much as they are, but unfortunately if in the middle of the 21st century year 2022 they still don't understand and continue to underestimate women, I don't expect them to understand from now on. Edit: But yeah, I agree that this movie seems to be very generic and kind of a ripoff, they could have done something much better. I will not watch it and I prefer to continue watching Mulan, which has a well-constructed story and remarkable characters.

Is Turning Red inspired by the anime BNA where a girl turned into a Tanuki (japanese racoon) half human? They look similar especially the dodgeball scene which seems very similar to the baseball scene in BNA where her arm got large and the fking ball became an anti tank bullet
