I've been wearing the Puma Army Trainer in white / grey with gumsole and it's been my city walker along with 10,000km of driving while travelling. The natural patina the suede has picked up looks perfect and the gum sole works better in wet NZ weather (and back home in the London rain). For proper trail walks I've been switching out to my Hoka Anacapa Low GTX, so that keeps the Puma fairly safe.

Great video ! My favorite white shoe for the last few years- Reebok Classic Nylon. Beside being ridiculously comfy, the texture is unique and it gives it a character. Fits with everything even with my style being changed and updated with time. UNDERRATED

Yep gotta agree most puma sneakers are extremely underrated. You can often find them at half the price, same goes for the reebok classics as well. Those are some awesome white sneakers. As a Sneakerhead I'm the most happiest when I get to buy sneakers which I really like and don't care about the hype or what others will think if I don't wear my Air Max's and go outside with a pair of new released Puma's or New Balance, which doesn't make me bankrupt 😅 and most importantly are available, thanks! for always showing love and attention to non hyped or underrated shoes. Really like the Puma Vlado and might even cop a pair in near future! Also thanks for mentioning the Filling Pieces Ace Spins, in general the brand had and still has some great options in the basic white sneaker category...☝ For the most part I go with my WMNS Nike Air Force 1 high sculpts, Air Jordan 2 chicagos or my Adidas Forum 84 highs when it comes to the more "basic" stuff, not that much a fan of low top sneakers tbh ( aside from retro running silhouettes and well... Puma Suedes and Clydes 😂 )... Great video btw!☝💪

Hi tek's were the most popular shoe in my middle school and probably the first branded sneaker I owned (mid 80s) The Squash were the cheaper more affordable model, with the hi tek silver shadow being the most desirable/expensive pair.

Hey Harry! Another fantastic option IMO if you're looking for something unique with sleek design is the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico Delegation. Been wearing them a lot the last 2 years or so. They're more comfortable than the '86 while giving off similar vibe.

I've always appreciated Puma sneakers in passing but something clicked tonight when I saw a Rhugi Suede collab. I think the Suede is one of cleanest sneakers out there. Vans authentics are the best sneaker Vans ever made. Dont they do a more premium version? LX? I think its called soemthing else in the states. Nice honorable mention with the Filling Pieces. Those are fire! Ive never seen them before. I bet youre right about them having a resurgence.

What do y'all think of Oliver Cabell shoes? Also, fact that old school Pumas in American got super popular in late 2000s. So much that I went to a club once that didnt allow sneakers and the bouncers let me in because i was wearing 🔥 Pumas.

The “Men's Grand Crosscourt Modern Tennis Sneaker” from Cole Haan has been a great white sneaker for me and was very well priced at 100+ a discount when I purchased them, but I just looked them up and they seem to run at a steeper price point. Regardless, they are very plain, but are comfortable and have a nice look to them in my opinion. I think Cole haan is thought of as a very preppy brand which is why there isn’t much popularity on their front but I think their shoes, and the shoe I specifically mentioned, are underrated!

The CP Achilles is THE BEST white sneaker out there. Nothing comes remotely close to it in aesthetics, versatility and durability. I’ve been wearing mine at least 5 years in all four seasons and they will not die. They are totally worth the money and I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

I’m not a huge fan of the brand. They just straight up copy other brands shoes and sell them for cheaper. I get a lot of brands do that but I like some kind of originality. I had a pair of the Low (gifted from the brand years ago) and first impressions were they were fine but I sold them right away.

I currently own the Warrior Shamghai WB-1 in both the red and the green colorways and I love them both 👟

Reebok needs to bring back the OG Phase 1 in white and off white. They were my favorite in the late 80s and early 90s.

I recently gotten the Common Projects Achilles low and I gotta say, despite being similar in quality and look, I prefer them over my Koio's. I just feel like I'm wearing "the" white sneaker with the Achilles low.

I got my first pair of Common Projects a week ago. I had been reluctant about spending so much on a pair of plain white sneakers. So why did I do it even after watching Rose Anvil’s video? The competition here in the US, the Koio, the Oliver Cabell, the Suit Supply, none of them look as sleek or feel as comfortable on my feet as the Common Projects. And at over $100 off, they just made sense for me. I really like the Adidas Jeans. I would have to import them, though.

Recently I bought a Puma rebound game low (Black & White) which looks similar to Nike Dunk Panda low however Puma is not expensive but comfortable than Nike.

For me, the Nike Cortez is deeply underrated as of the moment. Couldn't seem to find them in-store. Really wanted to grab the "Forrest Gump" ones. I hope they will have their moment again soon.

Hey Harry, do you think it's worth sacrificing comfort for style when it comes to sneakers? I know there are sneaker models that can be both stylish and comfy (Asics Gel-Kayano 14 for example, the pair is awesome IMO), but I'm talking in the more general case. Leather sneakers like Dunks, Sambas, Nike Air, etc. tend to look more 'classy', but their comfort is no where near some running sneakers (which tend to look not-so-great as lifestyle shoes). For the same price, which would you choose?

If you can get both get both. As long as I’m not in pain wearing something then I will sacrifice some comfort if I like the style. Do whatever works for you though. When I’m an old man, I may regret sacrificing comfort. Who knows?

I feel like in Canada specifically the sambas aren't as popular as in the U.S, I haven't really seen them on anybody, I've actually just only ever seen people wearing Jordans, Adidas all stars, white air forces, custom air forces, black air forces, air maxes, new balances, and panda dunks (only ever seen people wearing Jordans, white air forces, custom air forces, black air forces, air maxes, new balances, Panda dunks (and regular dunks), Vans, docs and chucks)
