I don’t know what to say other than this is absolutely brilliant. For those who were completely blown away by the thought and technology that went into creating Murmurations, but may not be able to squeeze out the cash for as quickly as they would like (global inflation is real). Your company has come out with this product, which is absolutely gorgeous and immediately accessible! The bundle is an excellent move to.👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Gawd, will you lot give over? Having barely scratched the surface of Murmurations in all its lusciousness you now lob ANOTHER dollop of gorgeousity at me, and what's worse is it's free so I don't have the excuse of not being able to afford it! Seriously, I have no idea how you do it but I'm so grateful that you do. There are no libraries quite like this and Murmurations, it's larger sibling (though other companies will be sure to follow your lead - or try to) and the price point represents exceptional value. At first, I thought SSG was just bundled with Murmurations for new purchases, and I thought 'shame it's not free for people who already bought SM but fair enough, business is business…' but then I realised it IS free to me! You guys really are offering the best customer experience of any sample library company…any software company of any kind come to that.

I just bought the small string gestures package and I purchased it for two reasons. The first reason is that it sounds so beautiful and looks to be something that's going to be very fun to explore. This has the most chamber orchestra sound I have heard from a sample library, which admittedly isn't that many but still - absolutely gorgeous. Brings me back to all the best things I loved about my study in cello, the intimacy and musicality in collaboration. Stunning sounds from the first demos 3 minutes in!

I was a session player in LA for years, now in Portland OR US. I am from the old school of pen and paper, but now doing a lot in my DOLBY ATMOS room here and loving it. Did a project with Yo Yo Ma last fall which I got an immersive mix credit. A high honor for me to be involved in.

I'm semi-retired (from both Psychology teaching and photography work) and finances are tight. I started composing with a DAW last year and I've had some success presenting and recording my music so far. But, I have been sticking to two instrument subscriptions and avoiding buying others. I am a fan of your streams of helpful consciousness, Christian, and an admirer of your work - and could not fail to be impressed by your demo (here) of Small String Gestures. So, I've just bought it! Only had time for a quick noodle - and I'm blown away. I will will need to save up for Murmerations, but in the meantime, I'll be see what Gestures can make for me, and I with it. Thank you for your genius!

Cosmos and now this!? SM is a gift that keeps on giving! Spent most of last night getting lost in some 3 note chords. I swear i could hear some choir voices in there lol. Those strings really do sing! Fantastic job guys.

I heard this and in a day or so had to download it. I don't need the full String Mumurations, but it too has some beautiful sounds beyond anything I have heard at the moment. Over the last couple weeks I started blending Small String Gestures with Arturia's Augmented Strings, then Heavyocity's Vocalise 3 (melodic phrases), and finally Aska Matsumiya's Crystal Bowls from Spitfire Audio. The last three I have also run through a buss with some Arturia effects - Delay Eternity, Rev Intensity, Efx Fragments. With some fiddling around you can get the Vocalise phrases to stick out with just a bit of florish using a slight increase in velocity response. The gesturing of the Small Strings and the other sounds swirling allows you to give some control and variation that is astounding. Some of these newer tools are nothing but magical. Sometimes things come together in ways you don't expect and I have to say I love it.

I haven't seen such revolutionary libraries for a long time….

Than you so much for this wonderful gift,given on the basis of having previously purchased String Murmurations. I really love the sounds of the presets and articulations….within some of the chords you played , I could almost hear textures similar to the human voice ..🙏🏿🙏👏👏👏🎶👍

Watched about 10mins of the video and YOLO'd the library. First impressions are fantastic - sounds glorious on it's own, can imagine it will add lovely subtle colours when mixed with other sounds...and some of the bonus presets are (like Dystopian Lullaby) are take-it-to-the-bank scoring gold! I'll be getting this at some point, been watching this one since it came out.

This kind of string writing with these phrases and gestures coming in and out at their own will without the control of composer is actually a really similar sound to the string writing in Saltburn. Really nice and such a good price point too!

I'm getting a serious The Master by Jonny Greenwood score from these samples. Amazing!

Even if CrowHill stopped now (and please don't!!!) layering Attic Grand, Cosmos (Nebula works) and the Small string gestures (set to A sharp) but in C minor brings me near to tears on simple chords. You have made the World better already!!!

Thank you for this. Sometimes it is the small things that get used more then these big expansive libraries. I am using all your free stuff in a current project. I do have String Murmurations but it crashes on load up. I reinstalled many times to my sample drive and the default system drive on a mac and it works in Cubase once but by the next day when "enabling" the track or loading it into any other DAW, it crashes the DAW completely. I reinstalled over 10 times. Will contact support at some point to figure this out.

‘Cascading Memories’ took me back in time to Barrington Pheloung’s scores for ‘Morse’ back in the 90’s.

Nice sound and a good price tag as well. Personally I often prefer small niche affordable plugins over big complete orchestral plugins.

Absolutely in awe! I am not sure I fully understand the main differences between Small String Gestures and String Murmurations. Anyway I’ve just purchased the former and will be testing it out cheers!
