I like seeing good things happen for humble and deserving people like you dude. Touring is a hell of a thing and I’m glad you’re out there living the damn dream brother. I’ve got a beat to shit super Strat with an old telecaster neck and a Gibson 57 bucker on the bridge and it’s an absolute ripper, you’re right, there’s something about them that has some magic sauce and like a raw aggression that my Les Paul just does not. Congrats on the touring and Hoo-ah brother!

I'm surprised the pickup didn't get super muddy when the battery was low. Always been my experience with emg but also never tried that particular one

I've been wanting a Jim Root strat for like 7 years now. I just don't know if I'm going to be able to afford since they're over $2,000 now. But if I ever get it,it would definitely get played every single day. It is definitely a dream guitar for me. I had a Charvel last year that was close to it but it just wasn't the exact thing and in my heart I knew it wasn't the Jim Root strat which I've always wanted. One day,I will own one and I'll be sure to not make this wish but an actual promise to my future self to get it.

Honestly i gave up on hardtails because its all sigs. I love JR. But I want non signature gear. I even wanted a 5150 for years, but refused to buy one until eddie left and they changed it to 6505

Little fun fact if anyone cares Alex Perez. Who designed and builded Jim roots guitars loved the hardtail single volume design and originally did it for Tom delonges strats and jazzmaster from 99-03 and Steve Kleins of nfg strats and jazzmaster from 2000ish till whenever

The empty neck pickup hole, in any guitar, instantly adds that something that relic-ing was invented for, IMHO.

I've got a Jim root style white pickguard with the one humbucker if u want it. Lmk where to send it brother!
