This is SO. GOOD. I've struggled with forgiveness because I was taught with forgiveness comes reconciliation because we are supposed to forgive in the same way God forgives us. He forgives and reconciles, so in turn, we are supposed to do the same. BUT I did NOT want to reconcile with this person because I knew they were just going to keep doing the same thing. So, it's been a struggle. Listening to this has given me a different perspective...with forgiveness comes REPENTANCE and reconciliation. Thank you 🙌🏾

This was so powerful. I had a whole breakthrough on what had been bothering me about my similar story. Not telling my story to keep that person protected and feeling that bitterness and resentment towards them. Feeling trapped again. Thank you both for this.

5:11 FATHER , Thank you for forgiving me of my sins, I ask that you forgive me of any sins I committed.Elroy have I pleased you with as of late displays of forgiveness. It's been .. different accepting the calls of my dad, but Lord I ask that my desire uo know which is our real father doesn't show up as pride or sin Lord. Attached with feelings of resentment. Father may I have mercy and grace after the calls as I just become more willing available to communicate to both of my dads. Without this invisible emotional grudge Lord.
