These games are great, totally agree - and they deserve more coverage! Never understood why so many people just seem to dismiss them outright - apparently some streamers didn't like them or something, I'm told?

I’m not even sure myself. I know that Gameranx did a video on Shards of Darkness where they spoke positively of the first game and had mixed feelings about the second one. Aside from that, I just think the competition was tough with Assassin’s Creed going through some of their biggest releases, which may have made it so Styx struggled to get the attention it deserved.

The plot twist of Styx 1 got me really good. It's so mind boggling and infuriating XD. But what bothered me most about Styx 2 was somehow the fact Styx didn't talk with Arkail. He was right there. I know Styx doesn't know Arkail, but Arkail knows Styx. He could have called out to Styx to hear, what happened to his old friend. Idk... It somehow bothers me that they didn't talk. If they had met this could have someow become a plot for Styx 3 where they work together once again. A Trio of Styx, Helledryn and Arkail sounds interesting. Who's in for it? At least we got to see what became of Arkail :).

I love this video! Not gonna play the game its not really my type of game but i still really enjoyed the essay i love these type of videos and i was shocked that you have less than 1000 subscribers, this feels like an experienced channel with a large audience so i was suprised not to see the 500k that you deserve!! edit:i just saw the rest of the people have similar opinions it really feels so high quality hahaha keep going dude!

This comment genuinely made me smile. The fact that the video was enjoyable, despite the game not being your cup of tea, makes me very proud of what I’ve made! And I’ll try my best to continue to put out videos of this level. 500k might be a bit of a long shot, but I’ll start by aiming for 500, and then we’ll take it from there :)

I have expressed my opinion, ya know it. I stand by it with the full video watched. The video just feels as I'd describe it "forced" like developers do on games and release them too early. Maybe just me, but hey that's just the way it is sometimes. Excited for next videos though, keep it up!
