lol it’s one of the best pieces to run as a solo player

I've only been back to D2 for about 6 weeks after being away for 2+ years. I got one of these to drop in Summit a couple weeks ago. I run it all the time. I had heard it was good but didn't know the actual benefits until seeing your video. Now I like it even more!

I just got mine today in the new weekly base of operations project exotic cache 😌

I run striker gear set with 4 and this backpack and have 1.6M armor. I cant say how many times those thropies have saved me after i collect them for extra armor

Any good xp farm method around? Just came back and had to start from 0

Only reason why I’ve shied away from memento lately is the fact that I’m leveling up gear pieces that I’m not super familiar with to increase my expertise. So I’m squishy most of the time and getting those trophies can be burdensome but I do agree it is a Meta exotic piece. Currently sitting at 11 expertise

You don’t need to actually use weapons/gear pieces/skills in order to become proficient in them. Just donate materials in the expertise section of the tinkering section. There’s so many things just simply not worth using & it takes quite a while to actually raise your expertise level doing it that way. Donating materials is much faster.

Man, i am not even joking, or it is much easier to get exotics or they just want me to really get back, just installed the game again after 1 or 2 years, did a sumit, put AR to drop, first couple floors droped the st elmos, changed the loot to backpack, and 5 or 6 floor up, memento droped, damn

What top and bottom do you have on your character?

I acquired one very early on when i hit 40 didnt touch it since I didn't know how it worked... now i do and am going to use this with a lot of builds. Also how in the world did you get 70 rounds in the mag?😮

I like the Momento and have used it a lot. But, my main issue with it is the stacks. If you don't refresh them with a trophy, then you will lose them. If you are loot hunting or doing anything else other than taking down the enemy, you will not get a trophy. The rushing around to replenish the stacks, without stopping for loot grabs, is annoying. For now, I have replaced the Momento with the Striker backpack.

Ima returning player and got my first memento is there anyway to get the 15 weapon damage and full armor ? Mines 109k armor n 9.6 critical

Anyone has advices on Hollywood GE ?? Im new on this game 😢

I love running the momento bag with foundry bulwark! Momento bag foundry mask foundry gloves foundry knee pads Foundry holster with with the grupo chest for a bellstone chest even sometimes for more survival ability, Or whatever you want on the chest.But I like to make sure that I got a good piece.That provides good damage, But I tell you what that build right there.Nothing can touch you in this game with that.Build when you're at full stacks, it's incredible I face tank everything.I play out in the open on any content and it's amazing

What is MOMENTO? I have over 3000hours in this game and I never heard for this.

Hey Skillz, this backpack can it be gained from both challenging and heroic summit and countdown? I dont own it sadly. Also people say you have to extract at the end of countdown. If youre in a team do all players have to or only one? If you dont, the time runs out or the game crashes do you lose all loot picked up?

It can be gained from anywhere that has backpack as targeted loot If it's in the open world, try farming that area with 5 directives on to increase your chances

You don’t extract loot in countdown, you just pick it up like in the open world. Choose backpack as your targeted loot, and hope the RNG gods work in your favor, or use countdown requisition to buy exotic caches (one successful extraction match essentially equals enough to buy one exotic cache).

Ive just heard most youtubers say dont forget to extract so i assumed you would loose all loot if you didnt. Guess thats only the DZ.

You extract yourself. If you successfully do, you earn more Countdown requisition (double).

Memento is really fun if anyone hasnt tries it i recommend u do quickly it makes solo gsmeplay so much funner and more interesting.

Memento is great bagpack for Solo PVE and Darkzone Landmark farming. For PVP in Darkzone it works when you are in advantage and able to kill the enemy player. If you lose in PVP in Darkzone, you will lose all stacks and cant use the advantages of Memento. Do PVE first, then Go for pvp in Darkzone. But its time consuming and not worth to run Memento if you encounter Rouge Agents often. Then i would rather take pure PVP build for Darkzone.

If you do Countdown, select bagpack as Target loot. Maybe Memento drops or u are lucky to get it from exotic caches from Countdown Vendor. 2 Countdown runs on Challenge gives 1 exotic. 3 runs results already 2 caches. An exotic Cache costs 224 points and you get 158 for each run on Challenge.

Liquid Engineer and Matador are extremely useful for certain builds.

Ninja Bike Messenger is a close second

Ninja Bike builds can be pretty solid since TU20 buffed most of the brand bonuses, however, you need to actually put some research into it. I see too many people running around with builds with odd pieces giving little to no benefit. Momento is much more straight forward.

Yeah it's hard to use this to work in a group. Especially when playing with randoms, they other guys tend to steal kill a lot and you know you didn't get the kill because there is no trophy sitting there. That means you don't get a buff. For groups I switch it out for something else, either the ninja bike or if using striker, use the backpack and Coyote mask or something that adds more crit damage. 3:32 Did you storm a control point with the snitch?!?

Memento is always a must. Also Picaro's holster with the proper roll (mine is 170k armor +15% armor damage)

Every Picaro’s Holster comes rolled with an armor core and 15% weapon damage as one of the minor attributes bud.

I use belstone gloves for this, 170k armor, as core, with crit chance and crit damage. 10% armor on kill, 1% armor regen

Lemme go out on a limb here, Care less helmet and Johnson Uniform?

Seriously though... A topic for another time perhaps, but striker needs to be nerfed into the ground. It's bad when one set is all anyone can even think of using, regardless of how you enjoy playing the game. And this build just makes it even worse.

I made a striker build with the memento of a total of 1.2M Armour about a month ago. I was the first one to do it in my clan, and the buffs are wild. But you’re still the Goat 🐐🫶
