I love countdown, great way to lvl up too. Besides farming for a particular loot pool; you can sell your loot to build up your money, deconstruct your loot for resources, all while practicing different gun and gears in countdown as well different running and gunning strategy. And not lastly, but certainly save up your countdown requisition for exotic cache. Especially for the optimization cache, in my opinion a great way to build up all your tactical assessments, weapon alloy, gear weave, field recon data and your SHD calibration. Countdown is my absolute favorite grind.

Challenging Countdown is for sure the best way - you get great odds with the targeted loot system & get lots of gear as a bonus which you can use for your library and expertise, or simply deconstruct for resources. Running Heroic control points is also good. Earns you optimization stuff and blueprints along the way. Really you just wanna pick the best method that accomplishes the most for you for time spent. I’m SHD 200 and I already have all blueprints, library built up and expertise nicely progressed.

Indeed. Bullet King shreds during this Guardians event! Running 4x striker with Catharsis mask and Picaros holster. 1.8M armor. Never thought bullet king would be this usefull. 😊

One question: what dye are you using on your outfit? That's fly as hell! Dig the hair dye too. Just saying. GG!

Countdown is the fastest farm in the game.

Alternatively, just play the game. I got most of my maxed out mods doing the most random things. I remember I was helping a guy get his Manhunt skills on story mode and got 2 12% CHD mods in 2 mission, I passed them on to him since I already had them. Keep an eye on the vendors for decent fillers, I have seen 5%+ Crit chance mods pop up pretty regular. This is a good guide, I personally find target farming stuff like this tedious to the extreme.

​@@AlfaStation1you play once a week or something?? I play consistently online and I get max rolls at 2 minimum a week. Sometimes 1 if I'm unlucky, and sometimes I get 3 to 4 but rarely. Also but, I'm online almost 10hrs a day.. usually 8 at most so maybe time spent in game is a factor

I'm on floor 70 ATM and I'm still only getting 1 named boss. Hopefully I'll get 2 on 80. 😔

- I find open world items in general having better rolls then summit or countdown. - be VERY CAREFULL throwing out double skill mods. Some skills (like the shield) can use similar mods in multiple slots! - Didn't know floor 10 farming was still a thing? - Let me know if you have a quick way of checking and cleaning up mods. I often find myself with a full 100 mod stash and it takes ages going thru all of them and reduce it to 70-ish mods. And yes, i already use the trick putting mods in all of my 16 builds to free up that precious mod-space. 😉

@@nozemi9074 I said "similar mods". For example most shields you can use 2 different Shield Health mods in 2 out of the 3 slots. Deflector shield can use 3 Deflector Damage mods and the Striker Shield can be equiped with 2 different damage mods. You'd be supprised how many people throw out these mods because they think they are "doubles". 😉

I have a better, but not necessarily quicker way to clean up skill mods. Instead of using the mod inventory screen and throwing away what I think are duplcates, I get into one of my skill slots that you would use to choose a skill, then click each skill as if I was going to add a mod, then look at every slot on each skill to look for duplicates. As an example two shield slots can have shield mods of 4% holstered regen. This way I can save one for each, and only eliminate duplicates for a particular slot. Until I thought of this I was constantly throwing away good skill mods! Hope this makes sense.

@@news1964Thank you for the advice but I already use that exact same method. It takes a long time to go thru every-single slot. So I wish there was a way you could stop picking up mods for skills that are already maxed-out... or even better: convert them strait into mats! 🙂 (same with other items: after 5 years i only check/keep the god-rolled stuff. Everything else goes strait into mats (unless it still ups expertise of course, but that is rarely the case). It 'd be nice to have some kind of addon in which you could specify what to pick-up and what to convert strait into mats)

I’m still tryna get a maxed out pulse resistance mod it just doesn’t want to drop its so frustrating 🤦🏾‍♂️

You can, just gotta do CD more than several times. I do it consistently so it can drop max rolls and I even use same character. I do CD everyday usually most of the time I spent in CD, max rolls don't dropped everyday no matter if all day grinding or not. However I will try testing out switching characters. But I do know at least 2 minimum to 3 times a week I get max rolls with the same character so it is possible. I'm specifically speaking of mods.

You were not deleting a duplicate, they fit on different slots on your skills. You should farm Godrolls for each slot.

Personally i say hold 7. I have builds with improvised.

The summit dosen't work for me can do it ones after clear and than its 11😅

Kamikazebondoom posted two videos about it quickly after the update...he plays in PC...XBox and PS as well and show all the bugs happening mostly on PS.

The game doesnt like giving me the max gear mods (PFE) that i need, ever. I remember on reddit someone told me some players who farm a lot of one item may get some kinda ingame decay on the quality that it drops at (similar to what you mentioned about rng). Im now in the process of creating multiple characters but i haven't yet seen the condition and stability of this game after the update.

@@SwoRD_Gaming_ just logged in, seems I've gotten really lucky as I'm experiencing none of the issues that other people are experiencing,my agents are not invisible, loots dropping, no 9% loading screen, textures are not all messed up for guns or animals, my HUD is there, my UI isn't bugged neither, my own clothing textures work and when I die I can respawn. I am on PS5 on EU servers in case anyone says that I must be an Xbox player.

I am farming for Protection from Elite maxed since 3 years. till now I got NONE! everything else is maxed out

Can you help me get an OUROBORUS...tried at least 20x no luck... or can you guide me to a better build to survive the mission...HELP...

With the advent of Project Resolve, the 10% Pulse resistance modification has been removed from the game. Who got it during this period? It didn't fit anyone I know. I've been grinding in the mod countdown for 2 months and the biggest mod I've ever dropped was 9.9% Pulse resistance. After the Project Resolve update, the 10% pulse resistance stopped crashing as if it didn't occur. They want to force players to buy it with real money..

I don't farm them, they just appear in my inventory

Each person has a different likelihood of getting certain drops. This is just simple RNG. It's an algorithm. So if you aren't having any luck getting the drops you need, I recommend trying on a different character if you have additional created.

Way too many hackers in the DZ, I don't bother to go in there anymore as I get Ganked from long range most of the time by Hackers that shoot through walls.

I think the floor 10 glitch was about using this to farm XP. That has been patched. What is being talked about here is farming mods.

I have never got anything good out of the dark zone except rubbish get better drops outside.

without rogue agents and extraction then dz is just another world map. some basic pvp build and knowledge can help you to counter rogue agents.

I can see you're obviously on playstation. Why are you still playing if it's broken like this right now? It's so frustrating to me. I can deal with all the visual glitches but the fact I can't pick up loot, in a shooter/looter game, is infuriating. Do you think all that loot we didn't pick up will still be there when it's fixed? Thats not rarest mod. Charge speed on jammer is rarest mod. I have 6pc +13 elite protections, but i have seen only 2 charge speed mods. I have 1 and my clan mate has 1

First of all, countdown challenge/heroic mode doesnt give god roll on mod and attachments anymore, I think the devs change it drop rate. Second, game is so broken right now and it has been since the beginning. The game devs are not good people. About 80% of ppl on my friend list(50 ppl) never online anymore, I am about to quit playing this game too. I am so glad that I never spend a single dime for this game since NYC.
