Man, I've been waiting for this deck. I decided to go UG with reality chip, haughty djinn, and the new case that decreases spell cost for G casts of Slime to cast as many as I can from top the library . Even with graveyard hate slimes exile clause makes it pretty powerful.

My first instinct with Slime against Humanity was a Golgari kind of set up, but Blue's access to self mill and Red's discard and draw seem faster than black's focus on creature filled graveyards. Good stuff mate

It's wild they made this card count copies in exile so it's immune to graveyard hate. Still not sure if that makes it competitive - but it feels like they're pushing this type of card too hard.

I love how this is basically a budget deck besides the lands, but i always find lands to hold the most value over time, so they are my first wildcard spends

It bugs me that it isn’t a tribal sorcery-slime, it’d make the card simpler

I played against this deck in historic just the other day. I was running a one-of Test of Talents in my azorius control deck, and of course Test was in my opening hand. The game went exactly as you imagine.

14:04 In match 2 the opponent had a profitable attack but got lazy with math, summing up the attack they had 43 damage in creatures with trample and without summoning sickness, while LegenVD had 31 toughness in blockers

Awesome deck, was also looking for something with Slime in it. Have you tested cards like Bitter Reunion and/or Case of the Crimson Pulse? They look to fit right in and I feel like they would add more stability and a faster kill perhaps to the deck? GREAT DECK !!

I love these unlimited copy ooze & rat decks. Thanks for generating this type of content! Too bad today's standard meta is dominated by the extremely fast decks (mono-red, boros convoke) or extreme control (AZ) decks. With the exception of Orzhov Amalia & Rakdos Aggro (which dominate MR & BC), no midrange deck wins against 2 of these 3 top tier decks. Tough to play midrange decks on ladder. Cheers!

I made a slime against humanity arcane bombardment deck where you filter all of them into the graveyard and keep bombardment safe with counters. I went 8 wins 2 losses, very fun

Since you already have Red inside I created a copy of your deck but with 2 Arcane Bombardements for the end-game push. You go wide like crazy if that enchantment sticks around and since the Slime-spell counts in exile as well, it is no shame to banish them from your graveyard.

Could you try playing Arcane Bombardment with Slime Against Humanity in standard for a future video? While definitely not the best way to build it, its the most fun way by far in my opinion. Would love to see!

Slime is actually really powerful in EDH, because you can use Extirpate or Surgical Extraction to make a 40/40 slime as early as turn 2. I've also been brewing it in Modern and actually won some games vs tier decks using Serum Powder and Thrumming Stone lol

I found that [Deathbonnet Sprout] performs very well.

Some people would add cards like Case of the Ransaked lab or Spell Jhin, others may use Arcane Bombardment, All Will be One or Chandra Hope’s Beacon

Heh. I faced this yesterday, I think. A couple of well timed counter spells made quick work of it.

I'm playing my slime deck right now as follows: 21 forest 28 slimes 4 cenote scout 4 mulch 2 bite down 1 tribute to the world tree Definitely still a work in progress, but it has similar games to yours where I'm basically just building out a board of slimes that just grow out of hand for my opponent. If there is time to get a tribute out after that every slime draws a slime which is great. I also really like filtering my lands into my hand with mulch as well as the cenote scout putting a body on the field while getting slimes into the gy. Would be interested to see what your take is on a build like that. I have Rubblebelt Maverick and Aftermath Analyst up for testing and after seeing your deck I'm considering going UG for the Founding of the Third Path and 2 or 3 Flotsam/Jetsam. Not sure yet what else blue has to offer!

Hi! Nice deck, i have the problem with the lands, have some of them but not all, this deck would still be viable with normal lands?

Demonic bargain can exile slimes while searching and surgical extraction effects can exile most of the slimes to easily make big ones (lost legacy is one such effect legal in explorer)

Demonic Bargain is a cool synergy! Was looking for an extraction effect in Standard but couldn’t find one that fit.

Have you been able to find any kind of home for undergrowth recon? I'm really interested in this card for having a lot of the same energy as arcane bombardment, but that might also include unplayability. Other than "bad", what kind of deck wants this? Is infinite reuse of lands with sac abilities good enough? A control deck that runs heavy green perhaps?

I'm new to the game and ended up in this video after having to create a deck for this week's event. Looks like the Innistrad sets will be out of standard format in this july, what would you put to replace Cathartic Pyre and Rockfall Vale?

I wonder what other Slimes we could see. War Slime, Slime of Aggression, and Genoslime from the RSIC. Thoughtslime from 1984. Preslime from Minority Report.

Since it counts exile, I wonder if there's something interesting to do with that and Demonic Bargain's "exile 13".

It's not card draw or graveyard enabling, but it seems like All Will Be One could be good in this type of deck. By the time you've cast the 6th Slime, you're likely to have put 21 +1/+1 counters on stuff. Maybe Arcane Bombardment as well?

Modern Magic evolves to the point that Green has better Relentless Rat deck than Black.

I really like Slime with Arcane Bombardment, eventually you're shitting out 4+ 8/8 or so slimes a turn

Hello @LegenVD Sorry to be disturbing you on this fine day but i wanted to ask you a question. Im planning to take this deck to my lgs for the standard store championship and while im not expecting to win il still do my darness to try so i had question regarding sideboard, Im planning to take 4x Ephara's dispersal, 4x Geological Appraiser, 3x Tolarian terror, 2x Analyze the pollen and 2x Chimil, the inner sun. What would you recommend? (I considered Bitter reunion but couldnt find any in my collection nor at my lgs and it's tomorrow so that's a no go)

Funny. If we go proportionally it would suggest exactly 39.6 SAHs but when it comes to mtg there's more to that than math so...

It's actually not a terrible budget deck, cuz you don't need to spend a bunch of common wildcards. Mana base is somewhat flexible and can be reused in a lot of other decks so it's not exactly wasteful in that department either.

How would you deal with Deadly Cover-Up? I hit a dude's deck with it, removing all Slimes in play, and exiling every Slimes Against Humanity in his deck. Literally had nothing else to play, so he scooped.

Our first land often enters tapped, so at that point Prankster provides more value and plays better with our Saga.

craftables the deck, I hate ooze, just quirky deck, outvalue everyone, play it like 3 times and be bored, same play pattern every time. I like Arena and I think the free to play experience is fine, but this deck in standard makes my head hurt. There are decks in standard that are meant to be played in commander, and are going to be here for a while and it's so frustrating. Ooze is terrible in draft, and it's terrible in powerful constructed formats, but in regular power constructed formats and commander it out performs stuff. The fact it counts exile too is stupid.

I tried this "wonderful" deck using almost all my jolly cards for the craft. It sucks.
