I actually dont consider this a slice. To me, it's a massive fade. The difference to me is, as insane a curve as this has, the ball still crosses his body quite a bit, indicating he has control of the face to path. A slice is this level curve but also a push. Basically just an open face with no control. Like my slice never crosses my body. It starts right and goes more right.

Power Fade when it lands in a good spot, slice when it goes out of bounds, that's all you need to know.

​@GeraldRisch this was probably the 58th attempt and you are correct. Pros can spin balls all day. Making a ball curve is all about how you adjust adjust your swing inside out or outside in. Not impressed stuff

Nice! Congrats even. And if you don't like it and want to hit straighter just try to hit the bal WAY right, WAY RIGHT!. Spoiler alert: you won't be able to. But you'll get rid of the fade/slice.

I have played a consistent pronounced fade for the last 30 years...I never see the left side of the golf course...and on dog leg lefts...I just hit a 5 iron off the tee and take my medicine...I shoot in the high 80's and sometimes mid to low 80's if my putter is working...I chip and putt pretty good for an old guy.

Its part of a 14 club challenge. He was sliced it that much to kill his distance. The start with all there clubs at a short par 3 then try to hit the green with every club in the bag. See some crazy shot and just how skilled these guys are to hit the green with putter all the way to the drive

I thought he shaped it that way intentionally as a straight flight path would’ve rolled off the back of the green, given the pin placement. A draw would’ve given him a 100’ putt. The slice allowed him to play driver to cover the distance and roll close to the pin placed on the right 1/4 of the green

I had a similar shot going for a par 5 with my second shot on a course in cancun. The wind was insanely strong left to right. So I line up way left of the green but I pulled it way left. Anyway its a 5 wood so it's sky high and after cursing my poor shot I just watch it ride the wind all the way to the left fringe on the green. Mine was an accident though, this guy knew what he was doing.

Got nothing on me. I start down the fairway and wind up four fairways to the right.

That is playing the slice to a whole Nother level

I get where slices and stuff can come in handy going around trees and what not but i see too many golfers hitting them for no reason and the ball rarely going where its suppose too. Great shot.

I got burned on Dom United preeordering for 275. Skipped everything until Rudy said how low dr who was gonna be. Got one of those and it went well. Then randomly got a box of Ixalan for $209. That looks like one of my slices. I once hit such a sharp slice that the group playing that hole stole my ball because it was so out of place. The tee shot is 75’ above the fairway. It was like 280 yards carry with a 100 yards slice to the middle of the next fairway. I wanted that shot for the next hole.

I've actually done this exact same thing. Problem is it wasn't the green I was suppose to be on 😂

I could make that exact same shot, and people would be like 😮 damn dude! Then i would hit that same shot into the next fairway on the next 17 holes 😂. I was an expert at right hook and right dog leg holes. I can Smack it out there about 150 yards and the she starts aggressively banking right. It was natural for me I couldn’t get rid of the slice, but I could actually make it worse or better, to my advantage by laying that club face open and putting the ball far up in my stance. It was fun to play with, wasn’t fun to put down my scores most of the time. The best part is when you roll up on a hole with 6 people waiting and they say go ahead a play through, I’m like 😊yup Watch this boys and rip a slice around a right hand bend, can’t see the hole and land it on the green for eagle, then after that I’m like hurry up let’s get away from them before they catch up and then I become the joke of the day 😂
