As doctor passionate about skin care that delivers results and about well aging, I want to help you quickly and efficiently pick a skin care regime that works, by explaining the science behind skin and by sharing quick product reviews.
I am a big believer that creating a skincare routine that targets your specific concerns is not a matter of your budget. There are many great affordable brands out there: The Inkey List, Good Molecules, Geek & Gorgeous or pixi skincare to name a few of my favorites, and if you know how to combine them, you are well on your way to healthy and happy skin.
Healthy and happy skin does not mean "flawless" - whatever that might be. I have been struggling with acne, hyperpigmentation and postinflammatory erythema (PIH and PIE) for most of my adult life, and it took me a while to figure out that gentle is key. I went through a retinol damaged skin barrier, acne flare ups and sun damage until I finally reached my happy place: With Tretinoin, sunscreen and of course a red lipstick!

Thank you so much Dr Anne. I'm 30 years of age at the moment and already have facial fat loss, something I have to learn to accept. I considered sculptra or Radiesse to gain some volume again but I'm too scared for nodule formation. I'm trying to accept my skin will change with age and try to keep it as healthy as possible. Right now I'm putting all my bets on sunscreen andtretinoin, diet and physical activity to maintain as much of what I have :D btw your new chair looks very comfortable!

It is my new/ old chair, I use it to play video games. But my other one was moved to my daughters room for her reading nook and I can't be bothered to lug it back when I want to film.

Dr can I use the eye cream of this probio-cica range to my eye lids as well ? Please do a video of how to use the eye cream of this probio-cica range how to apply and how far around the eye area that we can apply the cream? As the eyelids and just below the waterline of the eye tends to get lines so is it possible to apply the eye cream of this probio-cica range? Can I use this ampoule and use the jade roller or to do the face massage? Thank you Dr Ann for this informative video.

I use all eye creams that don't have exfoliants all over my lids and really close up to my eyes, but you need to see if that works for your individual skin. And yes, if you enjoy using a jade roller, you can do one with the ampoule. I haven't tried that though and don't know how quickly it will get sticky.

@@DoctorAnne Dr kindly let me know whether the madagascar centella probio-cica eye cream has exfoliants? And also can someone with sensitive skin use the madagascar centella probio-cica range for the face?

@@AndriBp-wx6of t doesn't have exfoliants to my knowledge, but Bakuchiol, which is said to work similar to retinol. I can't say if your skin will react to that. For the rest of their products I don't think they should be a problem, but each persons skin is different, so I can't say for sure.

Depending on the type of scar you have, a serum or cream will most likely not be able to make a difference. If it is only redness or pigmentation though, not a scar, I have a video on Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation I suggest you watch.

How can we combat estrogen loss if we still get our period? I'm super stressed about being 38 and cannot accept aging in the future. 😢 my skin is super tight and I have a chiselled jawline but I don't know what the future holds in a decade.

Your body will go through changes during life. Just like you entered puberty, you will enter menopause eventually. I don't think that is something to be afraid of and there is nothing you can do about it. Obviously you can get medication to mitigate side effects of that transition, but as someone that is 45 now, I am much less stressed about my looks than I was when I was younger. You don't know how you individually will age, so don't stress about it. If you don't like what you see in the years time, there are plenty of options to change your appearance.
