OMG the Clinique liquid facial soap has been my holy grail for years and years and NO ONE EVER talks about it! 😄 I agree it's the most perfect gel cleanser - fragrance free, lathers up nicely, rinses off clean and a bottle lasts me 6 months. It's just the best!!

Been using Clinique skincare since high school and always feel like it gets overlooked bc it’s not Korean/Asian or trendy etc but it’s so good and stood the test of time.

Really love your videos but i think the whole experience can be even more elevated if you added product info on the screen somewhere. Dont have to have the price but esp with your makeup products it would much helpful if you added name and shade as well🙏🏻 Not sure if you can get your hands on cosrx peptide booster serum?! And vitamin c serum but pls try it!! Its super great! 💕

My favorite sunscreen is Thank you Farmer water sun cream. It’s a Korean brand and it’s spf 50. I’ve been buying from Costco since it had a really good price. But it’s been my daily sunscreen for the past 3 years

What eye cream do you recommend for wrinkle prevention? I need to find a good one, and I trust your recommendations.

Hi Jen! I got into doing skincare when I was 24 (4 years ago) and I use retinol, other face serums, thick moisturizers, and sunscreen, but I've been getting adult acne now since I started using them which rarely happed before since I have dry skin. I use acne treatments but it doesn't seem to help. Do you have any recommendations besides seeing a dermatologist? Also, I got a bunch of piercings in 2018, and my piercer gave me that saline spray which is the best, and I still use it today despite them being healed since they still hurt and get crusty sometimes

Hi Jen, I've been going through retinisation for the past 4 months and although it's supposed to get better, I feel like there has been no end in sight with purging, and am still getting breakouts. I watched your 101 Retinol video and am still hoping to get the results you got, but it's been really stressful. It's actually more traumatising to get cystic acne in your 40s than it was to get in my teens. I've been on Accutane twice and can't believe that I'm still dealing with acne at 45. Normally when I'm on birth control (either Diane or Yaz), it prevents the cystic type, but my skin has been SO angry with me for the past few months. I'm at a point in my life where I can afford to buy the most expensive skincare if I want to, so that's not the problem and I am happy to pay top dollar for something that's guaranteed to work, but nothing has ever really worked for me. Anyone else out there who feels this way, I totally understand your frustration and I'm here for you!!! Love that turtleneck sweater!!

I am literally going through some retinization right now too! Got the retin-a 0.05% and the transition is not fun so I feel for your pain 🥲 If it’s super painful and interrupting your life then I would back down a little and let your skin heal. Stagger it out a bit more. There has never been a magic answer for my skin type though… I always break out a ton unfortunately, so I just tough it out knowing that it will be worth it soon. The good news is that at 4 months you should be right there at the end. Don’t lose hope!!

@@frmheadtotoe My background is also Korean and I was never one of those girls who had nice skin. My cousins all had good skin and I just couldn't understand why I didn't inherit the same good skin genes. I had acne everywhere, including my cystic acne on my body and would be so envious of women wearing strappy, backless tops and dresses and it made me cry everyday feeling like a total leper. I mean, if Accutane wasn't effective enough, there really is no other medication strong enough to help me. I did get a few CO2 laser treatments years ago to clear up some dark pigmentation (seriously, my skin looked like I had dirt smeared on me), but that only worked once. Watched your LED mask video and I had something similar, but didn't work for me either. I just don't get it!! To be honest, I get super annoyed with people promoting and raving about all of the K-beauty products which supposedly changed their skin, and I'm like, I'm Korean too, so why didn't any of them work for me?? SO much money wasted over the years. Anyway, thanks for the video reading my rant.

Another great product I found for ear piercings (especially cartilage piercings) to help with bumps and irritation is Dr. Piercing Aftercare swabs!

I like the sun bum tinted sunscreen. I use it like a bb cream after my moisturizer has set. It has a mousse like texture and makes my pores disappear while evening out my pigmentation spots. The color blends perfectly with my skin tone, looks nice and matte and natural and doesn't leave a white cast. I keep trying other products but always come back to the sun bum tinted sunscreen, there isn't anything that comes close in my opinion.

Great video! I’m definitely gonna have to check a few of these things out. Question, do you have Botox? You have like literally no wrinkles between your your eyebrows and I’m curious about doing it and wondering if you’ve had any experience with it. Thank you! I hope it’s OK to ask this.

I have 2 fave sun screens, but I'm not sure how accessible is it to get it in the US. For days I'm wearing makeup the Missha All Round Safe Soft Finish Sun Milk (the packaging has a pink cap) is perfect for makeup days as it doesn't mess up my base plus it's a great primer as well. ' On days when I don't wear makeup, the Roundlab Birch Tree Moisturising Sun Screen. The name says moisturising but it doen not feel heavy at all even after I use a lotion on my combination skin, plus I live in Singapore which is notorious for its humidity.

When you go to the dermatologist and ask to be prescribed to retin-a as an active are they able to turn you down ? Is there any over the counter that has the same strength that you use but you can get without a perscription ?

Just tell your Dr it's for acne. I don't think they can turn you down. I think if you were gonna use your insurance it'll depend if they'll cover it or not. If anything sign up for goodrx or any discount prescription coupon. Compare the price with your insurance and discount coupon prescription card. I hope that helps.

@@thingsthathavescents4995 this is very helpful ! I guess I can always call my insurance ahead of time before scheduling a derma appointment to see if they do cover. I just looked at goodrx app and it says it would still be $30 w coupon

Unfortunately that cream skin toner has been discontinued because they reformulated it.
