My toddler has flat floppy feet and will be fitted for full inserts soon. I had no clue about this before and I feel awful he’s been running around this way in possible pain! Thank you for the recommendations, I’ll be looking into the shoes he can wear in the meantime. The ones he has now are very flat with no support.

Hi Caro. Yes, these shoes provide extra depth which will allow you to fit an orthotic inside the shoes. Keep in mind that orthotics tend to take a lot of extra space inside the shoes, so you might need to order the shoes in a wider width. Please do not forget to remove the original insole of the shoe before placing the orthotic.

Yes, you can use high tops but they don't necessarily provide better support than your regular sneakers. I am not sure I understand what you mean by going "off shape". Hello Darisan. That depends on the degree of your child's foot condition. Do you know whether your child has mild, moderate, or strong pronation? Is your child experiencing any foot or leg pain?

My son has flat feet and complains about foot and leg pain on a daily basis. The issue is that he has extra wide feet and a high instep. Are the shoes that you recommend capable of accommodating my child's extra wide feet?

Yes, but it depends on your child's foot shape (narrow, medium, wide, extra wide).

If you want to get rid of a fleet foot ... do a fleet foot for defense forces or medical or bad weather ... give a link to a fleet foot for an arch support facility ... for a coroner🙏🙏🙏

Hi Nico. it depends on the degree of pronation you have and whether you are experiencing foot and leg pain. I have found Superfeet insoles to be the most effective ones for adults. I recommend the green one if you are experiencing strong overpronation and the blue if you just want extra support.

@@nicoperumal5311 In that case I recommend an insole with targeted arch support to help prevent your feet from collapsing and allow your to walk straighter. Also make sure you are being fitted for shoes that provide good support. The blue Superfeet will be helpful in your case.

After visiting a doctor, he suggested me few exercises for developing the arch and told me to wear orthotics inside my shoes. I was going through some shoes in amazon that are budget friendly and the Ryka ones seems good. Can you please help me choosing the correct Email shoe for walking?

@@ishratrhidita9393 Sure. Basically we need to look for shoes with substantial outsoles and firm heel counters to reduce the impact that your feet take when they come in contact with the ground. The shoes also need to provide extra depth to accommodate your orthotic. Do you know if you have narrow, medium, wide, or extra wide feet? This will help me determine what shoe brand/shoe styles you can wear. Hello Tim. I am not sure about which image you are referring to, as there were several examples including in the video. The video was created with examples of families of children with flat feet who were experiencing foot and leg pain due to having flat feet. I chose these examples because we were able to significantly reduce, and in some cases fully eliminate the child's foot and leg pain, simply by fitting the child in the correct pair of shoes.

Once the child starts experiencing foot or leg pain, I suggest fitting the child in supportive shoes and if the pain persists, orthotics as well. There is not a set age for a child to start wearing supportive shoes.

Hola en una búsqueda que hacía Encontré este video. Y he visitado muchos doctores para el caso de mi hijo. Y he visto que tienen muy pobre educación. No saben nada. Thank you for your feedback. It is true that it's totally normal for toddlers (ages 1 through 5) to stand and walk with pronated arches and valgus heels as their bones have not ossified yet. I have also noticed that some toddlers might already developed an arch but it's not visible because they still carry some baby fat below their feet (along their longitudinal arch). With that said, when children walk with their feet turned inwards because of having flat feet, this can shift the child's body out of alignment and affect the overall posture, which can put them at risk for future disabilities. When foot posture is not then the child's body will have to recruit more muscles for each movement, which leads to an increase in muscle fatigue, tightness, and strain.The correct type of shoes (as shown in the video), can help improve the child's walking gait, improving the way the child walks and their overall posture. As mentioned in the video, the shoes I recommend are not orthopedic shoes, they are your regular everyday sneakers that simply provide better support than others.

Never had flat foot till late in adulthood. my feet were perfect until I started wearing shoes made in China. I believe that they are designed to do just that.

Shoes that don't provide the correct amount of support and are too flimsy and made from low quality materials can lead to foot and leg pain. Make sure that you are wearing the correct type of shoes in the correct shoe size at all times.
