The BEST Shaving Products on Amazon

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

They seriously have everything - even some of the best shaving products on the market (SOME of them). Amazon.com is a great resource for getting shaving products. They may not always be cheaper by a significant margin, but you can usually at least get free shipping with Amazon Prime. If you do a significant amount of online shopping - especially during the holidays, you should check it out.
Oh, and please consider going to smile.amazon.com and supporting the Utah Prader-Willi Syndrome Association. A portion of every purchase you make will go to support kids like my son who need help just to get through daily life.

    Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about these products. Very informative and a great help in choosing some future stuff. Amazon is one of my favorites. Bought so much shaving supplies from them this year. I’ll look into this charity next time I’m on and do my share. I’m a fan of giving to great causes and this one is no exception.

    I will always check the same products for better pricing and/or free shipping (without needing a Prime membership) on eBay. Sometimes Amazon is the best and sometimes eBay is.

    I just gave Amz my first return. And second and third, all in same order. Sweats qualify as pajamas right? was just way too thin to be as advertised, have 4 brands similar, all twice the thickness. Days later on a trip, I find just the item types I had in mind at some thrift stores. Amz crap went back @60$ and I picked up eddie baur, pendelton, ll bean, filson and a few merino long sleeves for under 30! inalso picked up another 70s gillette tto, and an older gillette 3 piece for 7&8$ then also came across a 3piece safety razor at the dollar store and grabbed two just for laughs. turns out a very mild shave, although I admit I didnt and probably wont open the blades that it came with.

    I *love* TOBS sandalwood but it should be noted that it does not contain any sandalwood! As for tabac, it cannot be beat in its performance. Best damn shaving soap out there. I actually like the scent but YMMV.

    I'll agree with you 100%. Tabac is an AMAZING soap, but the scent can be very off-putting to some.

    After much experimentation with a variety of products I have determined the following: Brushes, cups and exotic named soaps are old-school relics from my grandfather's day. My favorites are Cremo, Wilkinson blades & Qshave adjustable razor. I admit I am attracted to the most efficient methods (Occam's Razor) Others may enjoy the nostalgia, routine and complexity of the old-school regimen.

    Hey! What are dude wipes? Also, what's the difference between a smooth blade and a sharp blade, you mentioned feather can be sharp but not smooth, have been wet shaving a few months now but I've never seen a video that clarifies this.

  • @doomcheater

    @doomcheater

    6 жыл бұрын

    Jay Man some blades are sharper and smoother than others. Feather blades are so sharp that they can get aggresive. On the opposite side, derby blades are dull blades and that makes them smoother. There are more balanced blades like astras or voskhod. Hope that helps.

  • @TheCleanShaver

    @TheCleanShaver

    Mario said it very well. Feathers, while being extremely sharp, can sometimes be so sharp that they feel rough on your skin (depending on your razor). Sometimes "stropping" the blade while in your razor is a good way to condition them. Most people say that Feather's hit their stride on the 2nd or 3rd shave. Otherwise, the Personna's and Voskhod's tend to be a better blend of sharp and smooth. They're also more cost-effective.

    Anybody know anything about Perfecto? When I got into wet shaving a few months ago my searches for a brush and a stand both popped up with Perfecto, so it seemed legit. Now that I'm learning more about the various accoutrements Perfecto is never mentioned. My brush seems... fine, I guess, though I have purchased some others since then. Thoughts?

    Honestly shaving is shaving. You dont need to spend a lot of money. Its just people with too much time or too much money. I use a budget pre-shave gel, a budget shave gel and a basic Gillette razor and I have silky smooth skin and a close shave. It is as simple as that.

    Amazon Prime is not really free shipping, you have to pay a fee for prime every month or for a year or similar, than you get for many products "free" shipping. And many things are overpriced to.

  • @TheCleanShaver

    @TheCleanShaver

    5 жыл бұрын

    For me, the benefits of prime outweigh the costs. You're right that it's not truly "free" shipping because you pay a membership. But you get a lot along with it including free no-hassle returns, prime video, and the list goes on.

    Some people prefer to spend their money on stupid ass basketball/running shoes and sports attire, some prefer building decked out computers, others prefer spending money on pomades/tonics/shaving items. Pull your head out of your ass from time to time and you might expand your mind just a little.
