The BEST Seed Cleaning / Sorting Machine!?
In this video I show you a seed cleaner / sorter machine that I bought off Etsy. What do you think about this machine? Let me know in the comments below! Also let me know what type of seeds you would use in this machine; pumpkin seeds, apple seeds, basil seeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, or another type of seed.

You can make this machine at home for a fraction of the price - around $50!! There is even one guy who made it out of cardboard lol. I personally would much rather pay someone to make it for me and support them for their work so I don't have to spend the time making it. Technically I paid $2 for this machine. How? Well the price that it is being sold for is equivalent to 50 seeds. I spent ~$75 to create ~2000 seeds. Therefore, each seed cost about 4 cents to make. That brings the total cost for 50 seeds to $2 :)

Awsome! Would this machine separate grape seeds as well? Do you need to help the machine during the separation process? I saw you assist with the stick in order to make seeds enter the separator...
Glad you got one and its working, mine saves me 100s of hours every harvest
Back in the day, we used a double album cover! LOL it worked pretty good too !
So simple of a design yet such a useful tool.
Wow!!!! Chris you have done it again helping me rectify one of my biggest waste of my time by hand sorting my seeds. Thanks again!!!!!
Nice job Chris! That machine is 👍 a true time saver. Thanks for the tips and video
I recognize those seeds.
That was pretty cool, thanks Chris!
I'm getting ready to need one of these. Thanks for the video!!
Very nice, handy machine no matter your seed sorting needs.
As simple as it is. It sure saves a bunch of hours doesn't it. Thanks for the video Chris 🤜🌟🤛🪴🪴🪴
Thanks man now I have to stay up building this tonight !!! Can't wait to use it
That is a cool little thing. Works better than I figured it would
fantastic design
Sorting seeds by hand is my biggest therapy
That is definitely a machine I want to try
Awesome little contraption! good shit Chris!
I like this one compared to the other one with the Shop vac. Looks like it takes a little getting used to but definitely a great Time Saver 💯 Thanks for sharing Chris 👍
Cool machine man !
right on chris that is one fancy frissby
Wow this machine is amazing I legit hand 🤚 picked out my seeds just a few days ago It did take me hrs
Very cool tool not for that price always a great show ✌
Way to go Chris!!! People want to make their own. Do It!!! U don’t have to slam Chris.
Totally rad
Pretty sick 😎
Used to use one of these when I was breeding birds for the pet trade. There called a winnower. I made mine out of some plywood, an old hair drier, and a sheet of Perspex. I could adjust the air flow by moving a lever, this allowed me to fine tune the sorting for different types and sizes of seed. Hope you have a speed controller on the one you have? To adjust the airflow.
Cool. Chris
I made one of cardboard box and styrofoam for the innards and use a blowdryer for a fan. It is very efficient when I clean my wheat.
💚👍cool! Come time I'll make my own.
Awesomeness
awesome machines regardless of how much it costs 😎
This is dope i think i may make a prototype rather than buy one tho as i already see some possible improvements i could make ❤ thanks for the inspiration
Beats the he'll out of an album cover or tray and card 👍🏼
buen video!
Sure saves a lot of time.
I love it, im needing one my self. Maybe i should just biuld my own?
ya i just did and it took hours. this looks like a summer time project.
Really nice broda Yes i Yes i
Nice
I don't know if I saw it on a previous video of yours or somewhere else, but the plans or a link to the plans were on the video I watched. I have a carpenter who lives across the road and from time to time he taps me up for an 1/8. Last time he did, I gave him the plans to this and asked him if he could build it for me. He was like, no problems, so any time now I'm expecting a knock at the door with my new seed sorting machine. Edit, I'm so rude, forgot to say, so Chris, as usual, thanks a lot for a great video with great info 👍

Ooo a pinball machine hehe 😘🤣🤣
Damn I want one! 😆
i used a large water pan bottom... like a gold pan
Could be a help with the really sticky stubborn bud matter and clumping
make drysift with all of the seeded buds first makes it more worth it
Hey bro which will be how many cast all parts
How much to have one of these made for me? I’m tired of spending hours separating seeds.

Hello friend, which seed is it?
Mr. Grow it, have ever heard of the marijuana strain "The Force"?
Does anyone have a link to these machines for sale? Either the one featured or the one he showed at the beginning of the video that was 3 feet tall. Thanks. 🌞🌱❤️

If you got the skills to build them, start up an Etsy or eBay account and you could probably make a ton of money selling them. The dude on Etsy looked to be making a decent amount of sales.

I just use a noodle strainer
Do you just dry the plants to dust before crumbling them up? I thought about making one of these but when I was breaking them up mine were at like 60% rh. I think that's where I messed up. It felt blasphemous to destroy all those trichomes :(. Got a ton of edible material and a ton of seeds though. Highly recommend sts over colloidal silver for fems if/when you go that route.

I have an idea........I think anyone can make it at home for free literally from folding carton papers in a carton box and just blow it with anything for example with a fan, or a blow dryer..... Just make a copy how it is and that's it....... Super simple and free 😄

I don't think you have met enough people in your life, if you think "anyone" can make this at home. Y'all gonna burn yo house down playing with hairdryers and paper boxes! At least pop for the $50 and get some thin plywood. :)
Do you happen to know the name of the ETSY seller? I wouldnt mind buying one of these myself

Vader OG had something like that. It was larger and I think just had a port to attach a shop vac. $500 is hella steep. You could probably have made one way less expensive.

So are you giving seeds away a giveaway or you just putting them up
@GardenTalkwithMrGrowIt
Жыл бұрын
No I don't do any giveaways on KZread because unfortunately there are a lot of impersonator scam accounts that will use people's logo and attempt to scam their followers by saying that they won a giveaway but they need money from them for shipping. I don't want to confuse anyone so I no longer do giveaways on KZread.
I could've this for less than 50$ I bet

Bet ya 50 bucks ya can't. Take pics when done and let me know what shipping costs would be. 😛
little high price bet it cost about 5 dollars to make
And it looks like you lost a lot of seeds bro that were viable but if it’s just personal use then it really don’t matter you can only plant so many seeds right
Didn't tell me what seeds tose were... Look like Hemp/marijuana? No big issue here though.
Ya, "plant material" got it.
Only in KZread
Why not use a wool blanket? Put your blanket in an 45° angel and let the seeds roll down and the rest of the plant will get stuck in the blanket
Bro u coulda built that for less than a 100

Nah, its too late, you are already over the bid. These other boys in the comments are already quoting him $50. But, they are also skimping and only using 1/8th inch plywood.
The best are from a dutch compagny called. Seedprocessing bv. here in seed valley westfriesland.
