As I'm reading the comments, I noticed that there are a few viewers who commented that they don't like Natasha's fun- loving silly self and told her to tone it down. I have seen other cooks and chefs who were very bland and boring and therefore I don't watch them because they're too bland and boring. I like Natasha's fun-loving silly self. You do your thing, girl. I love watching your videos, and I plan to try more of your recipes. Thanks! 😄

@@Natashaskitchen L💙ve your silly but affectionate presentation of this recipe and, I assume, all of your videos. Discovered your YT site via a commenter's remark on another YT vid, checked that commenter's YT channel, saw that your channel was a fav of his/hers, and voilà! I find it your style of presentation refreshing. Disregard the naysayers who criticize it. Love the 'taters'! I think that I, a non-cooking sort-of guy, could achieve this recipe as demonstrated. BTW, I never saw 'Sharky' in this vid. Enchanted by your instructions, I forgot to look for him. Watched it a second time, slowly, and still didn't see him. Rhetorically, was he hidden behind the -Bleeping!- pop-up links at the end of your video? Google must find a way to make these pop-ups less imposing.
your humor is very magnetic and it doesn't take long so its a good one for these short cooking recipes! gonna try it immediately :)

I love these and have been making them like this for years. It I’m curious - I always wait and salt them after baking as I’ve found the salt draws out too much water and makes them soggy. I feel I get better results salting after. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? Delicious though!
I made roasted potatoes for dinner. It was a hit in my house. I made it in cast iron pan. For the Indian touch, added paprika in the end. It was so good. Thanks for the recipe.

Oh my Heavens. That's it! I'm getting potatoes. Your recipes are so so easy!
Hi Natasha, thanks for this recipe. I love roast potatoes which are meltingly soft on the inside. My late father was a chef and would actually place the potatoes in the same roasting pan as the meat/chicken once it was cooked halfway through. Basting the potatoes with the juices from the meat made the potatoes so delicious! The potatoes seemed to absorb it but still crisped up on the outside. I find that using a dark roasting pan helps to brown the potatoes. Sometimes I crave roast potatoes but I don't want to do a whole roast. I think your method is great but as I can't have butter due to a dairy intolerance, I wondered if using goose fat instead would create the same meltingly soft effect or not? I hope it would give it a nice flavour too. Too often nowadays, roast potatoes tend to be bland or hard on the inside. I live in the UK where everyone seems to love using Maris Piper potatoes when making roasties but I find that unless you're going to eat them as soon as they come out of the oven (which I don't advise), the outside becomes too hard. I like the outside of the potato to be fairly crispy but not rock hard! (Yes, that was a slight exaggeration!). I think my parents used white potatoes but I might try a floury potato like King Edwards to see if that works or if that too becomes too hard on the outside very quickly. Do you find that Yukon Gold potatoes are better than Russet potatoes when making roast potatoes?
