I have been in a relationship for 13 years with my high school sweatheart❤️ We have gone through our fair share of ups and downs, but one thing we have mastered is working through our arguments and respecting what each other has to say. I always tell others that communication and respect are some of the most important items for any relationship, but especially for couples❤️

Erika--Thank you for sharing and congratulations on your beautiful love story with your husband. I hope the two of you continue to grow together in love and that you have many more decades of love, life, happiness, and adventures together. My husband and I are also high school sweethearts. We have been together for almost 26 years and married for 21. No matter what we have going on in our lives or relationship, we always celebrate our dating/together anniversary and our wedding anniversary each year. There is a bond and a depth of love, respect, learning, sharing, and growth that comes with being together through so many phases of life ( for us, our entire adults lives thus far) that has helped us to remain committed to each other, our family, and overcoming all the life, health, parenting, and relationship challenges that we have faced and will likely face in the future.
I think your example of still allowing your child to help out with the painting shows a lot of maturity. It is a parent saying I set an unnecessary boundary (usually out of convenience rather than safety) and I was wrong. It is actually the harder thing to do as a parent rather than hold a boundary “just because.” Also would love to see some reels or advice on how to deal with family members not respecting a child’s boundaries. It is very normal in my family to force children to hug or accept kisses from relatives they barely know or don’t feel comfortable with and I hate it. But they usually do it behind my back when I am not in arms reach to protect my child. I never know how to bring it up and explain why it’s wrong.
This is very helpful to watch! I have always found the beginning of the relationship is hard because there is so much to learn about each other. Does anyone else have this experience?
I find it heartbreaking and frustrating, the idea many have of not apologising to their children. They are humans. They deserve respect. And as adult carers of them, we are given a responsibility to give a good example. 🤗
I love this guest! Her vibe is so positive.

wow amazing thank you Marta for sharing that! and for listening :)
16:25 awww, my almost 5 year old does that to me ALL THE TIME. Especially when I'm upset about something gone wrong. I've tried to make it habitual to respond, "yes you're right, baby. It's fine." Best ever! I love how children get to the point in the best way.
Hello Ellen and Destiny, I love how you promote connection and conscious communication. Ellen I appreciate the quality of all of your videos. Thank you so much for speaking up your truth. I appreciate that and it makes me want to stand up for myself more and learn how to listen. All the best, Lura

well it is a word haha, I was just second guessing it - for some reason it didn't sound right to me at the time lol.
Can you post or make an announcement about your other channels posting schedule? For the past year now I check it every Sunday and it’s variable. If you would formally announce “I’m posting once a month”, etc, I think a lot of your OG viewers would appreciate it so we know what to expect ❤️

Agreed. She has such a beautiful personality and really important points! Maybe she was nervous? It just kept getting worse 😅
Good subject, but please don't put in an add just as your in the middle of a sentence. Pretty annoying.
I don't know how to describe it but sometimes I can tell when someone's been working on themselves in a spiritual level. They have a spark in their eyes so genuine that tell us "Look I struggled a lot but I'm here and you can do it too" I'm so glad to have creators like Ellen or Destiny to look up to! They guide me to grow into the best version of myself every day! 🫶🏻❤️
