Well I just bought my second one I have the carbon fiber Edition and you know the only negative part that anyone can say about this is that right now it does take you a little bit longer to order the upgraded Parts but it doesn't take you long to get the normal parts that come with it. So I don't know why everyone's upset about that. Like it's a brand new truck and everyone's getting it and but I put the stock carbon fiber Edition through many 4S and 6s batteries and I've had not an issue.

I Found you through Tomley and I agree with him 100% legit one of the best RC channels out there. Much respect for the hard work out there. Subbed and will watch on!

Yeah , it’s been great . Just saw the hbx 2997a vid . Right now , I’m liking this one a lot . I used 60wt in the shocks , fcr 50,100,30 diffs . The rear outdrive cups were wearing before I did anything after about 36 packs so not too bad . Fronts too, not as quick . I like grabbing the cf ot for the backyard off a small dbl sided for jumps . Decent air control . Ttyl

So this was the hype two months ago? Trying to find comments more recent. There have been some issues. Got mine two weeks ago, and it’s all in pieces trying to fix the center differential which sucked up, through gaping hole, road debris, such as small pebbles. Totally destroyed the fluid part of the differential, and having to take nearly everything apart, not just six screws, to replace it. It’s a great car until it isn’t. Only way I can say it. Addison and the crew are good people, but they have a ways to go to be even in the second tier. I am afraid.

With this purchase, i reached my 2024 new rc budget limit😅 Great intro! Why are shocks so addictive lol No issues with the upper front shock screws? In some other videos, they did bend or directly break. Not a big problem. I'd rather have broken screws than towers lol

Between the 2, this is built better, it's bigger and has better control. The Hyper Go is crazy out of the box speed, almost too much so, but has very limited options for upgrades 👍

To be honest, I actually appreciate this size, so that I can bring it anywhere I go. If you notice, all the China brand RC car are a size or two smaller compared to domestic RC brand. It is true, if you look at all the Amazon reviews of the Chinese brand RC car, most people; Always say that it is a scale or two scale off. I am convinced that the scale size., such as shoe sizes, are different in Asia country. If Rlaarlo want to go after US / UK market. They need to reconsider renaming their scale to 1/12 scale truck instead. That way people won't feel cheated, Your thoughts?

That second battery wasn't ideal. It was too long, but was the only xt60 3s battery I had. Mines all apart for a big rebuild so I couldn't tell you the size that would fit best. I do know the website has some good dimensioning info tho, make sure you check before you order batteries so they fit 👍

I did a few off cam on a dirt pile no problem. I didn't want to break it prematurely with my bad driving 😅 so I kept it to just air control and sticking the landings 👍

@@XurpleIsDead there are tons of aftermarket metal parts, but it's really solid out of the box. Maybe a 60+amp ESC will help with any cogging if you have it. Unless you are going for speed, it's good all-round 👍

The MT10 is a very different animal. It's one of the best for its size on the market. This is a bit small, but also cheaper and ALOT easier to work on, trust me. Parts are way cheaper for the Omni as well 👍

What size battery were you using and could you get away with something a bit bigger?

That long one was 3300mah, but it was an odd shape. The battery tray is adjustable to fit bigger batts. Just check the tray sizes before you order anything 👍

I'm going through the same dilemma. I'm building a 4s version too right now. Hobbywing makes a great ESC but you can get a cheaper Surpass one for about half the price. I have a 4s Rlaarlo ESC that I think I'll use, they are actually really good and it will keep inline with the brand overall. I know that probably didn't help 😅 But depending on your budget the Hobbywing 10BL120 G2 is really great 👍

Question, I have the Spektrum S2200 charger and the Supulse B3 V2 10W charger. Will I be able to charge the LIPO battery that comes with this OMNI Terminator truck?

On Rlaarlo's website they listed the amount they have in stock. I always get that fear of missing out but yet I don't want to over pay either. They have the Omni Termination Carbon Fiber version from $330 to now $250 (sure I know it is a marketing gimmick); but do think we will see this cheaper by the time it hit Amazon? Or buying the pre-sale is the better bargain? Your thoughts.

All the things I didn't like? Well, I would have liked it more if it was bigger. The metal version imo is a bit under powered and the stock battery didn't do it any favors. The CF version comes with a bigger can, and better electronics which is worth the extra 50$. But for its price point, it's really good. Nothing else out there its size and quality exists. If you have electronics, the roller is an amazing value too 👍
