Sure, but I don't think we'll see any coming soon, tech's been around for years, but there're almost no full games that utilize it

@@RhysDaKingVR yeah, it is a fully 3D environment with 6DOF! Beside this, this place actually does not exist, it is a CG experience! The goal of this tech demo was to show what is possible to do with Oniri, being able to convert any complex 3D scene (or 3D scan) into an application that could runs without any issues on Quest and Web without loss of quality compared the source file (that usually requires high end graphics card to work)!

Not your typical 360 view, which is actually 2D, this is actually 3D render by the headset....you can kneel down and look at the actual render graphic up close...like it is right in front of you...

Moste people here dont get it 😂 ...you will never ever see such graphics in a game on the quest. This is an offline prerendert, static szene that only works in predefind valumes. Lytro did something like that already 6 years ago.

Whats so special about this. Theres been plenty of these as homes for years. The quest 2 was capable of this. Its not like you can walk around and explore. Its just dead 3d images. Theres literally an app on the quest store thats just these high end environments.

No it much more than that is is a fully 3D model you can lean into things look under then and see full depth it’s a hole new thing not just a 360 image

@@RhysDaKingVR interesting, okay nice. regardless of the fact I think stuff like this is perfect for us users. It opens up more possibilities for games and experiences with beautiful visual trickery, anyways appreciate you bringing this to light.

No, it's only semy-6dof. 6dof only works inside these strange 1,5mx1,5x1m-boxes that you can see when you start the demo. If you walk to the restaurant (only possible if you can walk 5 meters in the real world), the illusion breaks.@@RhysDaKingVR

@@RhysDaKingVR if you lean too far outside the established zones, you'll see the trees are not fully rendered. It only renders the front portion of the trees for textures and shadows. Looking around the corner you'll see a hollow tree with no back on it ruining immersion. Poor textures and aliasing is very apparent up close. This demo uses a lot of smoke and mirrors to give the impression from the predetermined points of quality. Anything outside those points the quality breaks down quickly. If the q3 had the ability to render the full forest they would have done so

But psvr2 need a ps5 with both ps5 and psvr2 it cost around 1200 dollars or more but the quest 3 cost 500 and you don’t need a cable and a pc to play on it's a shame to say that psvr2 is better when you need a ps5 to play it a little bit better than the oculus quest 3
