I've been using Visbiome for about 6 months now and it has helped my visceral hypersensitivity as well as overall stress levels daily. Combination of the probiotic and a smoothie with a kiwi every morning has kept me regular daily. I tested negative for SIBO twice and have had numerous other tests but still no idea how to cure this issue or what it is exactly, started almost 2 years ago. But at least I'm managing.

far too much sugar in any regular yogurt. Dairy itself causes me great constipation , along with sugar & grains. I went sugar, grain & dairy free & the problem pretty much solved itself as long as I don't have any of those things. Eating just non-starchy veggies, berries, unprocessed meats & eggs. I have mostly regular BM's daily now. EXCITING!! Also having food freedom has prevented me from so much over eating. Another Win!! Try some of the probiotics without the dairy & sugar by all means. I do use them from time to time & advocate their use. I either make my own yogurt from canned coconut milk or cream, without sugar, so I can make ranch dressing & other savory things with it also. I add extracts, berries, lemon juice, pure stevia or monk fruit etc for a sweet treat if I want or add it to a non-dairy ice cream flavor for more fun!! You can be free from most health problems with good fuel for Your body - Your vehicle for Life!! Try an elimination diet & slowly try to reintroduce one item at a time & You will see the destructive nature of most of the highly processed non foods we eat in the last 50 yrs. Hence all this 'dis ease'. Here's to Your health! It is possible!!

What happens after the study is over and they stop taking the probiotic, especially the high dose Vis Biome? Is there a certain length of time you have to take it to see a permanent change in the gut that is not reliant on the continuous ingestion of the probiotic? It's pretty pricey! Thanks for the info!

So is the visbiome probiotic the one that needs to be refrigerated? I don’t believe you can find that at any pharmacy in my area. Or are you talking about the powder one? The refrigerated one is $70 plus dollars on Amazon. Is that the right one?

Drink some milk if you tolerate it, or eat some seaweed. Don’t take a supplement until you’re deficient and your doctor recommends it.

What are your thoughts on MegaSporeBiotic by Microbiome Labs? My nutritionist wants me to take it but I'm seeing some very concerning reviews on Amazon as well as a (scary) KZread review by a gentleman who tried it. FYI, my SIBO test came back negative for hydrogen but low positive for methane (3), and my GI doc diagnosed me with IBS-C.

activia would be my silver bullet if was not for joint pain that probably is reaction to dairy, but man when I eat activia my gut works perfectly. Wish they didn patent that strain or they start selling it as a standalone probiotic.

If you are constipated. First, drink 1-2 glasses of hot water(Pregnant women can simply drink cold water). And wrap your fingers around the anal area between the buttocks and, standing on your feet, press several times, as if you were pressing a button on a remote control, but press as hard as you can, then wait 10-15 minutes. . When you feel gurgling in your stomach, it means that everything is in order, it means that water has entered the outlet. Then drink 1 glass again and this time go to the toilet. Again, while standing, repeat the same thing, placing your fingers on the anal area. When you have a strong desire, you immediately sit on the toilet.
