Yes, the perm rods are very uncomfortable to sleep in. But, I found out the more rods I put in my hair the easier it is to sleep in oddly...like a full helmet for my hair :) Your hair is very pretty.

I always see these videos, and they are great. The hair comes out beautifully! But no one ever says how long this style lasts.

I did perm rods on my hair and tried to let it dry overnight but I made the sections too big and they didn’t dry all the way. It was a hot mess.

I'm going to try this, but I know my hair will NOT come out like that LOL

When I do a rod set, like after 2 days or so the curls shrinks in. Like the curls gets smaller it’s a bit weird, but yeah it his hairstyle is making me want to do a rod set.

The back of my hair does the same thing 😄. My natural curls and coils are smaller in the back so I guess they just take over the rod set🤷🏽‍♀️
