That seems like an awesome otf. I have really been digging my Hogue collector series counterstrike.
I like it. Looks well designed handle switch I like the longer switch action and blade profile. I'm sure it's sharper and a better blade handle, and you can just tell it's going to outlast the aluminum one looks like better quality. I give it 5 outta 5. I would buy it. Good job guys.
Aww yeah Lefty bro . That s not a bad gig checking out as many knives as possible and then designing your own with that knife connosoir experience 👍.
I'm late to the party but i just found ur channel. For warning I'm right handed. I really wanted to check out Houge knives but you're doing it for me so thank you
Not a lefty, but I've never failed to be satisfied with a Hogue knife. I have a decent collection (production knives--microtech, spyderco, benchmade, etc.) and I put a hogue knife in my pocket every day (I play with the others after work!) They (Hogue) sometimes use inferior materials (e.g. 154CM), but the design and execution with the given materials is always superb.

At this point in my knife collecting journey I have reached a level of skill as it pertains to maintaining an edge that has left me hardly caring about the specific steel; as long as it has been decently heat treated and is at least as capable as regular old 420. In fact some of my favorite knives that I own in the collection have ended Ik being in 420 specifically for that reason. Even my 63hrc magnacut knives get abused so hard they rarely go a day without experiencing damage to the edge. So when it happens with my cheap knives I am able to quickly fix it. Trying to keep a super steel edge perfect every day when you’re using it for hard blue collar labor type work is a mf nightmare. I can get a 420 blade sharp in 2 minutes using building materials on the job site.

Honestly I feel like hogue's lower priced knives are some of the best value on the market. I don't really like their higher dollar ones though. If I'm going to spend $300-500 on a knife, I'm going to want some better steel than s30v, not that s30v is bad or that they only use that. But you're right they don't really go for the higher end steels as often even with more expensive knives. Call me old school but I still like microtech for otf knives. I'm carrying a dual edge hera right now and can't believe how much I like it. I've always thought that I'd like a dual edge and I was right, it's insanely handy to have full serrations on one side
That thumb switch is a hot spot in full grip.

I have carried a Compound for over a year and I love it. I rotate between it and an AD20.5
Lot of travel in the switch. I personally love all things tritium and was getting tritium watches 20 years ago. Swiss microtec dive watch was my favorite. I gave up on OTF when I discovered that in EDC any little lint or dirt in the Housing prevents firing. Every single time you need it, the blade sticks from pocket lint
I’ve been running my Piranha Excalibur for a decade. Super solid.

*OTF* -- Out The Front
I went to order a knife from Brian based on your review but sadly Google says this business is permanently closed.
How many knives do you have collected? I’m new to the channel.

Probably 50 or so total
Be nice to get a ok of 89 Upper Deck cards instead of the 90 Fleer. You'd have a shot at the Griffey Jr rookie 😂
Love both of those!
😳"Lots of what?" 1:32
So this is definitely not for me. The fist knife you’re handlin is $450. You definitely get what you pay for, but you also get to keep what you don’t spend. Anything over $200 trips the wife’s radar. Any suggestions on a solid automatic for under $200? Thank you.

This was $300. Otfs are tough in the $200 range. Id bump up to $230 and get a Kershaw LiveWire. One of the best otfs out right now. If you don’t mind overseas, Maxace is making some affordable ones and the Takcom Knives Vigor is phenomenal
Yes, all are beautiful. But even as A Christmas gift i couldn't take it outside the house. Ñow if i could afford a 1500 deadlock I might be able to risk it.
Nice video man. NEED A GOOD RECOMMENDATION FOR A CHEAP KNIFE FOR MY LEFTY BROTHER? Not wanting to be cheap but I’m both poor and disabled.

There are soo many options. Watch a bunch of my videos and decide. Miguron Moyarl perhaps?
The guardian tactical 035 is the smoothest otf I have.
I want an otf knife. If I had the money, I would get the John wick off knife. 😫😮💨
