Fortunately, not all Europeans have to deal with such stupid laws (yet?) Here in Hungary, locking knives are OK to carry as long as the blade is below 8 cm (about 3.15 inches).

I’m astonished that was actually rapid, KEV 🤯 When will Divo make a cross bar lock? A cross bar would be cool on the Tall Boy, but it looks like you put a lot of effort into the locking mechanism of that knife and looks nice.

Maybe try holding a bit vertically in a vice would help. You would allow adjustment of the bit depth engagement to control pivot spin while freeing a hand.

As opposed to loctite I think you could have used fluorinated grease. That's what someone online suggested for the sebenza lanyard tube rattle and it worked for me
Kershaw springs dont play. Wanted to wait and see if they do a version in a better steel and how their version of the axis lock works before i paid 60 bucks for one. The new Gerber Scout "pivot" lock, is what gerber is calling the axis style, is slept on like a MF right now. Best budget edc ive picked up in years

The Exo-M I recently purchased with a drop point blade and Elmax steel is a fantastic slicer. Not sure how I feel about this one from Remette.
Drop point was the best but still thick behind the edge. Atleast the one i had last year was.
Still waiting for Piratech to offer the knife with your choice of scales... I'm not a fan of buying a knife with titanium scales just to buy more scales that cost more than half the price of the knife itself and basically throw away the original scales...
I do wish i allocated for a Piratech. but man, that Zirconium Magnacut Piratech is insane.

Can you guys make a contract with the OEM And Skiff to have the bearings already installed in all Divo knives?
We could yes, but it is not a cost we see worth it. Ill explain my thinking. 98% of ppl dont care about the bearings one way or the other. The cost of the bearings plus shipping, installing, etc would probably add atleast $20 to each knife retail. We try to be as competitive as possible with our pricing, so every detail matters. On top of that, if I was sent a knife with skiffs already installed, I would still take it apart and clean it, lube it, and set it in my own way. Would you? So, the only real difference is that 2% of our customers have to spend the $13 and install them on their own, which I think most ppl prefer. I do have a discount code as well to save folks money on their Skiff orders, Leftyedc. Hope that makes sense. Trust me i have thought long and hard about it. I think we would be essentially wasting that $20 for ourselves and most of our customers is kind of the bottom line I came to.
Curious... as a knife designer yourself why is it that most of the frame lock knives I see have the relief cuts on the outside of the lock bar right by the clip instead of putting it on the inside and keeping the area clean and clear?
Not sure. I dont line framelocks that much, that is one of the reasons. Also, i have noticed when it is internal, the detent tends be softer. Idk if thats a coincidence but it might just be a machining thing or aesthetics thing

I think I mentioned the Sebenza/940 thing but I don't think I came across like it was copied, hopefully:) That's just sort of what I see. I don't think they're similar enough that anyone could think it's a copy but I do think it would look better with the stock scales all snail trailed up:)

Love the Kraken, especially in that color. Let me know when you’re ready to let that one go. 😁 On another note, people can be ridiculous, there’s only so many ways to design a unique knife. Maybe an Isham design but that’s not usually as practical or desirable. Peace ✌🏻

Trick question. It's not a Shaman, so, while it is a great Spyderco folder, it is not the best.
Kizer honestly is the king of the $100-200 range I think. Given all of their s35/ ti knives like the militaw, sparrow, mono and varatas and mystic in rex45, nobody is really keeping up for $175.
Except for Divo Knives. 😂

You can get $5 steel standoffs to replace the gray plastic backspacer and a low riding clip - and you'll have a great custom piece!!! I have ordered an orange G10 set of scales for $11, which I will dye Red or Burgundy - and those other items I've mentioned I already have on mine - just can't wait to get rid of the plastic scales...
