Extra virgin coconut oil, vitamin e, tea tree, Jamaican black castor oil. These help me so much especially with dry itchy scalp. I love how informative you are. Research is key and you never stop learning! Thank you!

Love this video and channel! You're freaking GORGEOUS !
“Be you, be beautiful, be blessed.” Love that!
I really enjoy and appreciate your videos. Your information is clear, you speak clearly without all that back-and-forth that soooo many others do.You really helped me understand the difference in the oils. Thank you! I'm gonna watch your Porosity video next cause I don't know if I have Hi or Low Porosity. Be Blessed. :)
Thank you!!! I’m 2.5 months into my loc journey and I don’t think I’ve found a video that explains oils & their properties and differences so well!!! I appreciate it so much!
This was an amazing video. So many of us struggle with dry locs ! I love using jojoba oil and castor oil in my locs. Thanks for the tips !!! ❤️❤️❤️
This was a great summary of information. I have been having such sad dry scalp and recently discovered pure mustard seed oil. I love it. I use it and I love the tingling sensation. My locs shine and my hair gulps it up. Most importantly, my scalp is no longer flaking and I can go at least 8 days before I decide to wash and I appreciate that. Smell is not intense and long lasting. Thank goodness. Well done!
Fantastic video!! I’m saving it for future reference 🙏🏾💖
excellent video explaining everything. ive been using burdock root oil for itchiness and dry scalp
Great video sis! I use an EO water mix and then rub a light coat of veggie glycerin on my locs. Locks in moisture and smells great. I live in GA and it gets HOT so the veggie glycerin works really well.
This video was very informative! Thank you!!
Great video! ❤️❤️❤️ Very informative! 💜👍🏾 Thank you for sharing.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Excellent information! Living in northern US this is important to know how to seal moisture and keep hair hydrated. Before I was sealing in dryness.

You’re welcome 😉 Those of us with low porosity hair have to take extra steps to keep our locs moisturized. Be sure to start with a good regimen so you don’t have any issues in the long run. I have lots of videos on this topic
Thanks for sharing.

Please look at the ingredients on those products. Unless they went natural, there’s a lot of chemicals and toxic ingredients in their products. The wax causes buildup and attracts lint. Try my joie gel on amazon natural with nice hold ☺️

@@naturalbeauty0214 it says on the back it has natural ingredients but I try to stick to the coconut oil as it feels good on my scalp I don't have a itchy or flakey scalp but what are your tips on the washing maintenance
Hello lm using, Oliveroil, mix,with, Castroloil
How exactly do you go about mixing essential oils into a bottle so you can use for daily use? Would that include water and then the oils?
Wild growth hair oil
This is great. Do you have a written article with a deep dive of this research?

Hi👋🏾💜🙋🏾♀️ new subscriber and new Loc’r 🌱🔒💜 I never knew we couldn’t add essential oils straight to the scalp. Good to know and thanks for this video. So how would I use my essential oils and carrier oils? Do I mix them? My moisturizing oil can I just apply it straight to my scalp?
@naturalbeauty0214

yes you want to mix them together. use more carrier oils and just a few drops of essential oils. Moisturizing oils can be applied to the scalp if they are carrier oils.

Peppermint, vit e, tea tree, grapeseed, lemongrass. Someone who’s tried lemongrass on locs let me know how that works for you please and thanks!
Almond oil argan oil coconut oil grapseed oil island oil morocco oil and olive oil.
Coconut oil and tea tree oil
I use Jamaican castor oil. I do an ACV rinse then a hot oil. I was doing it like every two weeks but I thought I was getting build up so I stopped. Can castor oil cause build up in locs??

Castor oil is a penetrating oil meaning that it immediately starts to seep into you hair and scalp. However, too much of anything isn't good. You could always mix with a lighter oil to see if that helps.

@@naturalbeauty0214 Yea it definitely seeps into my hair. I'll most likely be mixing it with something lighter. Thank you Queen 👑 ❤
What oils should I use for retwisiting and washing I’m trying to cut out all products?
@naturalbeauty0214

use very light oils for retwisting. Again you want to build an oil mix that is more helpful for your locs.
Coconut oil can leave residue on your locs so I say away from it. Any oil that turns into a solid form in the cold weather really. I like pure olive oil or pure grape seed oil as they are thin and don’t clog my pores. Essential oils don’t really do much for me.
Will the dandruff oil help with my dandruff and moisturize my hair or do I need to get a separate oil for moisturization? Plz help I'm very inexperienced with this stuff

Both If you use the right ingredients
