Enjoying your travels. We're hoping to do something similar. Do you feel safe in Albania? Is it OK leaving your van during the day? Totally naive about Albania! But it looks beautiful!

Thank you! We did feel pretty safe for the majority of the time. We always check park4night before we leave the van somewhere to be sure others have had a good experience. In saying that, some places just feel a bit dodgy so we always go with our gut! We'd rather be safe than sorry! Most Albanian people are very friendly and are just happy to have you visiting and spending money in their country. We didn't have any issues while we were there and campsites are always pretty reasonably priced so we did use a few in busier places or pay for parking where there is an attendant in a city. @@0jellybeanie0albania is much safer than london. in fact there are thousands of youtube videos about albania, but not one of them describes something negativ about that country. and you can believe me ive seen them all. statistics say the same, no criminal acts against tourists.

@@0jellybeanie0brother albanians are really kind and helpful people .I can go any corner in that country and feel safe and not a single problem .English is not good but they try hard to explain if you ask for anything.
