Based on Elmore Leonard’s novella “Fire in the Hole,” Justified was developed by Graham Yost and stars Timothy Olyphant as Deputy US Marshal Raylan Givens, a lawman who finds himself drawn back to his home state of Kentucky. In Justified’s final season, the long brimming conflict between Raylan and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) will finally come to a head. The series co-stars Walton Goggins as ‘Boyd Crowder;’ Nick Searcy as ‘Chief Deputy Art Mullen;’ Jacob Pitts as ‘Deputy Marshal Tim Gutterson;’ Erica Tazel as ‘Deputy Marshal Rachel Brooks;’ Joelle Carter as ‘Ava Crowder;’ and Jere Burns as ‘Wynn Duffy.’ Yost wrote the pilot and serves as Executive Producer/Writer on the series. Executive Producers on the series include Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman, Michael Dinner, Fred Golan, Dave Andron, Don Kurt, Taylor Elmore, Timothy Olyphant, and the late Elmore Leonard. Justified is produced by Sony Pictures Television and FX Productions.

If you make a proper finale series with Boyd vs Raylan. Bringing Raylan out of retirement to find and escaped Boyd. Maybe he finds our Ava is alive with their son… it would be epic. That’s what everyone wants, not Primeval.

Their chemistry never gets old, I swear I can rewatch the whole series 10 times over and not grow tired of their banter. It's hard avoiding talking as if you're one of them after watching it as many times as I have lol. Love Raylan but I think I love Boyd just a wee bit more, he's the perfect loveable bad guy lol.

Me too man! I just got done watching the last season last Friday and starting on Justified City Primeval. The new show is alright but never brings back the old times. But Ill definitely rewatch it again.

It fits too since they didnt get along. By the end of the 6th season they at lease learned to respect eachother,..at best.

That suit line and Boyd’s response is my favorite. I still quote it - 10 yrs later. 😂
Timothy Oliphant is fantastic, but Walton Goggins is a god-damned national treasure.
Two of the best frenemies to ever grace the big or little screens.
Literally just finished my fourth rewatch of this series and it gets better and better every single time. Best dialogue in any television show ever, Raylan and Boyd’s scenes are absolute perfection!
This is the best series i have ever binged. Raylan and Boyd made it worth every minute of every episode.
The chemistry between these two that the writers created is palpable. Hands down the BEST writing ever on a TV show and for that matter 99% of movies as well...Their final scene together and the We dug coal together line is the finest ever to air...And the way they ended the seasons with the song You'll never leave Harlan alive was Genius...
They had that Batman vs Joker relationship. They hated each other but couldn’t stay away from one another.

They didn’t just hate each other, that’s what made their relationship so special. They dug coal together, had each others backs, it’s implied they prob both owe the other their lives. Some of the best moments in the series are when they come together for a moment over a mutual goal and you see that they both care about the other, even if they chose completely different paths that make a friendship impossible and would almost definitely end with one killing the other. God this show is the best.
The chemistry between Olyphant & Coggins is incredible. One of the best of all time.

Timothy Olyphant was perfect as Raylan Givens. But i have never enjoyed any TV character than Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder. Just a few levels ahead of everyone in a great cast

Heres to the stars of Justified: an actor who can perform beautifully with or without his nose and an actor whose most disappointing trait is not being an elephant.
Boyd and raylan are the definition of bitter frenemies.
Never caught the Quarles reference until this video…Scott county Kentucky is basically run by the quarles family

That line being one the last in the series is pure gold...
They love each other so much.. I just can't help but think they meet up, in the dark, when no one is watching of course 😂❤

If you listen hard enough, you can hear them call each other "brother", at the end of every sentence
"FIRE IN DA HOLE!!"
People go on about Oliphant and Goggins and no shade on them as they are fabulous. But the real star of this show is the script. It's amazing. Almost any episode has gems of dialogue large and small. Seriously, there are swift little background exchanges, very easy to miss or gloss over as you watch, that are as sharp as the big exchanges between top characters. I'm doing a re-watch right now and I can already tell it won't be my last.
