A few fellow correction officers told our Chief (Director of Custody Operations-Deputy Warden) that he was worthless and weak. We also called him a punk and a phony.
Rest in power to the ones who are gone.

Maybe even the same character. The wife in the video calls him "Douglas" as in "Douglas Niedermeyer."
I've forgotten how funny this movie is
Truly one of the funniest movies ever made. Brilliantly written and casted. That's when comedy was actually comedy!
“Fat drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son “
Doug Metcalf, and he recorded with them in that song the movie quote.👍

Takes me back to my daze in the Army- was it life imitating art, or was it art imitating life? Mash up: MASH, Animal House, and Full Metal Jacket
I’m 80 years old and three things I remember about 1978 was 1) jimmy Carter was the president and he was a disaster! I never voted For a Democrat again! 2) the Dallas Cowboys won the Super Bowl! And 3) Animal house was a box office success! Great laughs!

In retrospect, Carter wasn't that bad, circumstances and his attitude of Christian acceptance made him a target for RepubliCon operators who smeared him. That led to 12 years of RepubliCon malfeasance and incompetence that our country still hasn't recovered from.

@@davidmurray5399 we are from different tribes! Myself and millions of others hated his acceptance of baby killing. I as a catholic are totally disgusted by so called Christians accepting the killing of babies as okay! Biden says he’s a Christian, a catholic and he also believes in killing babies. I’d love to see him and Carter explain that view to the all mighty!
Funniest movie I ever watched!!!
