Excellent, Lomu was Power, Speed and Skill. I remember watching Auck play Counties in the early days, Lomu was a rising star Kirwan was on his way out, and the two literally cancelled each other out, two different type players, both AB legends. Same thing happened in a AB trial in the 90s I think aswell. I miss Lomu, his carreer was way too short! Thanks for the vid!!!
i wish i couldve seen him play. he is the best ever and we may never see another like him
That was awesome. What a magnificent player!!
RIP Jonah Lomu (May 12, 1975 - November 18, 2015), aged 40 You will always be remembered as a legend.
one of the coolest vids i ever seen in my life. mad props to horipinoy
RIP and thank you for the memories.
awesome highlights bro keep it up
dont know if the music was sync'd to do that but get shivers everytime i watch 2:15 - absolutely brilliant take and just runs straight past them. how the hell is he so quick at 18 stone?!
Some athletes are so great, not only as athletes but as human beings, that they transcend sports entirely. Jonah was and will always be one such.
Bravo Bravo. I first saw JL play in the HK 7s in 1994. Outstanding. David . Wales
Lomu’s legs were always turbo spooling! Once boost hit, GAME OVER!
Respect for your prowess. . and now rest in peace
you can only be as good as the man next to you, great balls and plays set this man up, and he tops it off with his amazing skill.
No worries mate. I do agree with you. I too waited for him to get the ball in space, best rugby moments ever. It was exciting to see who was gona get flattened. Take nothing away, the man IS a living legend and will always stand out in my mind as the best there is to shred defences and score tries.
RIP...u were always and still is my favorite player
Lomu was a beast.. there will never be another like him.
this is why he was a special guest during the rwc 2011opening. the absolute mantis rugby player. makes me so proud to be NZ'er. go ALL BLACKS! our boys will bring it home this year
Without doubt not just the greatest sportsman but also a great man!!!
I don't think I would say he is the 'best ever' there are to many talented guys to chose from, but, he was MAGIC to watch NO ONE can deny that
always have and always will love how the guy gets layed down at the end
we will never see a player as good as him
gota love the quotations! epic man
Awesome! Great video, what a legend!
Jonah Forever
Truly a nice bloke too, met him at my friends house in Wales on a few occasions. Can tell a good boyhood tail too.
That last try is and always will be one of the greatest moments in NZ sporting history. Such a memorable one.
I can watch this all day
thanks for do this awesome video !!
We miss u Lomu!! Hello from Paraguay
That little chip n chase at 2:17 was mad crazy. You the man Jonah!
Awesome! Will Carling (ex-England Captain) once called Lomu a "freak" - hugely powerful but lightning quick. I remember him running over the top of Tony Underwood (England) all too well! One of the all time greats.
there will never be another jonah lomu
Il bouscule un adversaire ... Il y en a deux où trois qui tombent ! Simply the best !
Another great vid. Thanks for that :)
What a legend. The type of player that only comes around once in a lifetime. Some of us are fortunate it was our lifetime. OP, thanks for the compilation but if I have one small criticism, it is the captions....they are lame.
@boas123ful i don't know if i speak for most australians but Lomu was so incredible that everyone can appreciate him, a genetic marvel.
i went to Wesley college a year behind Jonah and he was a beast on the field , too bad their were no smart devices or some sort of social media back then, cause believe me it would have been a far better highlight reel cause the team also gave him the ball.
i remeber the 95 RWC and the sence of anticipation when he got the ball was electric and what he did with it was unreal he is beast
