Because it lasts more than 26 minutes, and the DL meetings are made to last a few hours, unlike the Olympics and world championships

@@byrleydechapeu4196 Is that the real and the only reason why 10000m is not a diamond league event ? If you are a big fan of athletic and long distance running, you will definitely not mind and still feel enjoyable spending 30 minutes to watch 10000m. I personally very want that 10000m to be a diamond league event .
