I'm under the impression that Bob always said "Vance refrigeration" because he knew they were filming a show but he wasn't allowed to acknowledge the cameras or crew, but the opportunity to promote his business was there, at the result of seeming a little odd or nutty, he legally changed his name to Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration and then he was able to promote his business without the crew saying he couldn't promote his business... he was just saying his full name!

hes also the clearly rich well known grew up in the town entrepreneur who phyllis the shy woman whose not married likes and he scares mike which helps ...i love that aspect...when karen does not know who he is phyllis says you got a lot to learn about this town hunny as if she would know him like hes a star..phyllis in a way is pigheaded about his status but at the same time in smaller towns news does spread and everyone does know the top people so I like the balance of it being both

I'm missing my fav Bob Vance, Vance refrigeration scene: In the Micheal roast episode, Kelly is giving a list of people and things she would do before doing Micheal - when she mentiones a fridge, you can hear a 'Yeah!' coming from the audience. That was Bob Vance.

Dwight knew Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration wouldn't let anyone outbid him for his wife and therefore made him spend a lot more than he planned to. Still downvoted the video.
