Best part of that one is that it was supposed to be a slow leak where Dwight's head slowly sinks below the level of the desk, but after asking for "one more take," Jon happened to hit the seam of the ball causing the rapid failure the director used in the final cut.

I feel like the Christmas present desk took way more effort than moving his desk into the bathroom... He had to move his desk out for it... AND then use wrapping paper to mimic everything. It would probably take even more time to set up than the Matrix gag.

simplest prank would be lying to Dwight that tomorrow is Saturday. Dwight misinterpreted the current day in the first place, and Jim realised that an opportunity for pranking him further just came by itself
