This is what I thought boxing would be like the first time I watched a match.

1900 years ago some of our ancestors fought or spectated in arenas to the death. Now we fight with rules and without slavery. Time has changed very little in what we consider entertainment. amazing

Humans don't just evolve within 1900 years. Same why pop culture and entertainment industry barely differs from back then.

Best part is the sportsmanship after the fight is over... just amazing.

trust me BKFC is gonna reach UFC levels in a decade or so

@@aklv023lv5 grappling is too complicated, boxing might be equally dificult to master itbor maybe even more but its easier to understand it as a viewer, i never seen an entertaining grapling match and i think thats the main reason elite boxers make way much more money, the "casuals" are thebones that bring the big bucks and its easier for a "casual" to be entertained by 2 guys exchanging punches than 2 guys on the ground wrestling for 10 min, im not saying its inferior as a sport but i think i made my point

3:48 Melvin gets knocked into the ropes and should have been counted as a knock down but the ref. allowed the other fighter to keep throwing punches. This causes Guillard to turtle up in defense...so the ref called the fight as though it was an MMA match instead of giving him a standing 8 count...

I agree, he went to a knee out should have been a count. His last fight he kept fighting with a broken hand

The fight at 3:50 are you allowed to do that? Looked like an MMA type of finish. Did the ref switch off, was the fighter still "standing", or was it all legal? Thanks lads

He wasn't down to be fair. In boxing it would be counted as a downed opponent if being kept up by the ropes or ring posts, must be different here

He should've been declared downed. If the only thing keeping him up is the ropes he is downed. Same as boxing in that situation. Why the ref didn't halt and start the count I do not know. He stayed down because he was expecting a count and the ref just called it. Super weird. Fairly certain the ref forgot this was a boxing match. A possibility when refs are working MMA and BNB. It should be declared a NC and the fight should happen again.

Why did Melvin Gullard not get a standing 8 count? The ref let his opponent just wail on him while he was crouched down then called it! Melvin was protesting it too!

What was up with the finish of that Guillard fight? He let him finish it like it was an mma fight. Should have been a clear 10 count opportunity to stand up for Guillard after he was crumpled into the ropes.

It was a bad call. Guillard said in the interview with Lorenzo that the other guy coaches will decide to run it back in the future.

Been to all the fights in Biloxi Mississippi. Ufc is boring vs this. Quentin Henry has to be the most exciting fighter I've ever seen. Lobov and Jason was for sure the best duo ever though
