I wouldn't have got the reference if it wasn't for the music. Only near the clips end I was like "this drumming music sure is interesting, reminds me of Birdman" then I remembered that scene with Michael Keaton in his undies in public. It's nice that sketch worked for me even without getting the Birdman reference though, but then once I did an extra layer was added to make the joke even better. Nice multi layered comedy.

So this is why Batman V. Superman happens?
