She was the first Disney protagonist I related to, being a pretty sarcastic kid who got into trouble quite a bit. I’m really glad she existed because she made me feel seen, in contrast to other Disney protagonists at the time who were usually overachievers and “nicer.” I also love how this allowed her to grow throughout the series. Selena portrayed her flawlessly ❤️

Yes, that’s right! This show is like a clone of the boy band 98 Degrees with their dance anthem entitled “Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)”. The song fits the show’s personality beautifully in its later seasons.
