Thanks Alan, very much appreciated, the reason I asked was because I elected to purchase a freecom 2x duo but no matter what I try, it gives the delay so that sometimes I can hear favourite pillions voice before the intercom relays it so I am hearing two voices effectively which then makes it sound like an echo. I mentioned it to the supplier, and he responded " they all do that sir". Thank you again Rob

I installed mine today and went for a short ride. Never had a communicator before. Blue tooth music works ok, easy to connect to iPhone Bluetooth. Volume adjustment took a minute to get used too. My only disappointment is inability to make hands free phone calls and navigation directives using Siri. Siri doesn’t recognize the boom mike I guess. Receiving phone calls is easy and works well otherwise. And I can make phone calls if I manually touch my phone. Not sure what the problem with Siri. Great value and not sure the difference between Sena or Cardo except for a couple hundred dollars. Thanks for the review, well done!

It's the same usually for non apple earphones. I can never use "hey Siri" with other headphones on my iPhone. Walled garden thing.

It’s bullshit , doesn’t work with Siri for me either, only good for intercom and answering calls only.

Just purchased and installed these. My wife and I like them. Yes, absolutely a bargain.

So I have went and bought one and all I have to say it is far superior to that one I owned before. Sound is so much better and the speakers are definitely a better quality than the V6S I had previously. I’ll let you know how I get on. Thank you

Hi Alan, me again, could I ask you please were you close enough to sidekick at any time that you would say was comparable to a pillion to comment whether when either of you spoke, was the transmission instant, or was there any delay so that you could hear sidekick speaking normally, and then the intercom relayed what was said thus giving an echo type of response. It wouldn't matter bike to bike, but it is in close proximity as in pillion mode that it would be important. Thanks in anticipation. Rob

Hi Lee, I did not ride with earplugs but when listening to music 🎼 the comms are pretty loud and I had to turn them down. When using them rider to rider I had them on maximum volume. hope this helps 👍

Hi Alan, thanks for a very informative video, and so comprehensively demonstrated. I am looking for a coms set, for coms with favourite pillion, plus sat nav instructions where necessary. and this seemed to tick all the boxes and I thought wow ! Could I qualify one thing with you though please, If you are listening to your sat nav, you cannot communicate with your pillion, or buddy, - at any time, - so effectively it becomes a single unit, rather than a paired unit, - against most units that cut in with the relevant instruction and then return you to your coms with your pillion and / or buddy after a few seconds delay ? If that is the case, surely it has a limited application because unless you elect to remain coupled to a speaking operation, you might as well not have it for that purpose ? Thanks in anticipation . Hi Rob, that is correct I did find I was only able to connect to my phone or the other comms unit at one time. Personally when I ride with another rider over comms I tend to turn of the goggle maps turn by turn voice instructions as I find it annoying. So I don’t mind that personally but I suppose it depends what your looking for from your intercom unit.

Hello. Thanks for the video. So you enjoyed listening to music while riding. The one senario i didn't see is if you are listening to music and your other connected person talks to you what happens? Does the music stop and you hear your other person or what? Thanks again! FYI. i have no experience with any intercom systems and am looking at getting a pair.

Fodsport fx6 does all that and links to 6 riders at once. Used them couple of years great cheap group headset.

Can 2 people listen to diffrent music and take seperate calls if not together useing seperate phones

Hello the helmet audio is captured via the GoPro with a mic straight into the media mod.

I purchased this just to talk with my wife when she’s riding on the back…it does ok for that..the sound quality for music is not good it’s all treble but what I’d expect for $90…I feel like you get what you pay for…not some huge break thru though

After seeing under $100 in the title, all i could think was "That's the strangest American accent I ever heard."..... now I'll watch it again and concentrate.. ps does it connect to sat nav and to your side-stig to chat?

They work really well but the language change is terrible. No matter what I can’t get it off CHINESE 😢
