My sister is a stylist. I did this method (first time) and my own sister thought that I had locked my hair. It’s so natural and beautiful. My hair is 🔥. Lasted a month and I washed them no problem with only 1 coming out. Took me about 5 hours with 1 1/2 hour take down.

You can also fold your natural hair upward so that you don’t have to wrap it so far down. It also helps as well if you have long hair but want shorter locs

what do you mean? I tried this but ran out of loc hair to wrap my braid. the 18" was not long enough to wrap band hid my braid so I really would love to know how to "fold my natural hair upward so I don't have to wrap so far down."

@@kpossum8537 she means to crochet your hair shorter. So put the crochet hook through ya regular braid and grab the end of ya hair and maybe wrap the end a couple times and then close the latch and pull...I can find a video so you can have visual help if you’d like

@@kpossum8537 fold the braid of your natural hair before wrapping upwards like this \/ so it makes your hair shorter, and less to wrap. for example, if your bsl hair is folded to sl , then you can have shorter locs with no cutting

Yup that is the method I use, many people don't know that trick and it gives you the most natural look, you are so beautiful btw

I know what you mean with the four color giving a more natural look that's why I'm interested in getting number four this time. Sometimes black or your hair color can be too dark or boring after a while I'm ready to branch out just a little with this hair color :) Thanks for the video! I was going to do the braid w/ extensions first then wrap method since crochet looks so bulky like another commenter said but this looks less time consuming and I need that with 2 kids ! Great video! I do have one thing to say though, you have a note saying not to retwist real locs with gel, however, if you wash your hair often enough, gel is fine because it is water soluble and can be washed out with relative ease. It can still cause build up if not washed out soon enough or properly however, so stick to a regular washing schedule. Beeswax is the real danger. NEVER retwist real locs with beeswax. It will always cause buildup because it will not wash out. It will stay in your locs gathering dirt and dust and your locs will become heavy.

These are Definitely the most Natural looking locs I’ve seen on yt. Excellent video You did do an outstanding job! Bravo to you👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽. Just placed my order for 7 packs of hair and purchased the brown no. 4 thanks foe such an informative and detailed video.

@@allthingsmandy2632 I haven’t received the hair yet. I just had a medical setback in August 2020 and been unsuccessful in finding someone to install for me since my stroke. I do know how to do all the different styles of braids with extensions but my right side is still a bit numb. But I’m determined to install the way you have even if I have to myself. I will get these locs in. Even if it’s eventually.
