The whole sequence of him walking slowly toward the container with the eggs, and then sneakily looking back. That was amazing! He looked so real and absolutely adorable. Great thanks to the fantastic puppeteers.

@@TownieGirl1974 awww i hadn't thought of that....He says it like3 or 4 times throughout the season, and it's usually when he eats (he said it when the hand jumped out of the soup, when he steals the macarons, and when Mando catches him eating more eggs), so I thought it meant "food." Of course, there's the planet name "Batu" as well....But i like the idea of him calling out for his old buddy.....

@@anjalialaniz It was more of squid like creature than a hand. Hands don't make major movements like jumping after they've been removed.

I was so enchanted with him that I had to buy myself my very own Grogu. He stole the show. I can't wait to see him again!

Apparently, Mando is going to make an appearance in the book of boba Fett. Which is going to set up a mandalorian season 3 where grogu returns, just a bit older but still pretty much a baby.

Remember that R2 wouldve been at the Jedi temple when Anakin killed everyone.. And Asohka says he was taken from the temple at that time.. SOOO very likely R2 is the one who rescued Grogu and that is why they recognize one another!! Could very well be!!! Guess we will wait and see!

I love the moment him and R2 are together. I’m sure I read that R2 was the one that helped Grogu escape Coruscant during the Jedi purge. So cute to see them reunited

When Grogu was in the Jedi temple Grogu never got to do experience these things. Can you imagine studying the stars learning the Jedi way with no balance everyday! With no frogs and adventures. It's when the padawan get older to asign them to do task and then come back that most be boring.This is such adventure for Grogu he gets to met people and be a child for once. I'm glad he picked Mando. Grogu deserves a father with love and empathy.

I love this character so much, im a full grown guy and soon as i saw this dude i fell in love on first sight. Infact i ended up buying lifesize collectibles of him from season 1 and recently season 2 articulate version. I miss my lil green baby and now watching one of my fave shows again from season 1 episode 1.

I'm convinced that all the times that we hear Grogu say "Batoo", he is really saying "Artoo". Or at least that's Grogu's way of saying it. Look at the way R2 & Grogu talk to each other at the end of this video. They DEFINITELY knew each other from Grogu's time at the Jedi Temple. In fact, I think their relationship goes even deeper than that. I think that we are going to find out that it was R2 that saved Grogu from the Jedi Temple during Order 66.

I think the only living character (at the current time) who knew him was, unsurprisingly, Ahsoka. Obi-Wan and Yoda probably did too, but they likely wrote him off as killed when the temple fell. It's possible others knew he was alive, but I doubt a relative baby would have gone out and about into Coruscant for his time there (22 years max). There were roughly 10,000 Jedi, not all of which were in the Temple, explaining how some never knew of others, like how Ahsoka didn't meet Yaddle.
