X3 tuner is bomb too, does the same thing as the X4, but it doesn't have the nice screen lol You can say that again!

Gotta get that new mod bro the 2018 tag! Lol. I just got my vector tail lights in today with red diffusers non smoked and I think they look awesome! I tinted the bottom as long as the reverse light with 5 percent tint to make em look more like the s550s!!

damnnnn I want the red diffusers so bad! I would have gotten those if they came out the same time as the ones I have right now. I think the red ones look so much better than the white diffusers. Plus you customized it! Thats so cool

I ran my SCT tuner on my mac and it worked no problem.

yes!!! Tune is the most important! Even needed for BBK CAI that claims "no tune required" but you WILL run lean. great vid Nate!

The Custom Tune does make a huge difference compared to the bama tunes. I got mine done in San Diego at JBA Speed Shop and ive raced 2 of my friends with almost exact same mods with the exception of them running bama tunes and I always smoke em. At least 1-2 car lenghts. Custom dyno tunes are expansive though. I think mine cost me about $500 maybe more. I got it done about 7 years ago

Nate Rider yeah they are pricey. I've put in probably way too much money into my mustang lol. I havent done anything to it as far as performance is concern probably in like 4 years. Mine is silver, ive always like the mean look on all black stangs.

I like the part when u put the empty wallet up . . . haha! Anyway, nice vid again. So finally moving to mod engine related aspects of my S197. Finally done with suspension and handling . . . at least all I am willing to do. Always been more interested in better handling vs. power as I track the car and not drag race it. Anyway, I am a big AM fan as u. I keep hearing issues about the tuner being difficult to load in especially about downloading the tune to the computer and then to the car. The X4/SF4 needs to get it tunes by the computer and then to car. What do you think about new Rev-X tuner AM has? Appears you don't need a computer at all for that one. Thoughts? Trying to decide which one. Thx bro!!

hahaha I had to show you guys that I am broke! Thats so awesome! With these stangs handling is a must to upgrade and power will come along with it. I understand where you are coming from. Now what's next? I think I know why its difficult to download, When installing the tune you have to update your tuner first or else it won't work properly. It took me a while to figure that out, when first getting the tuner you have to update it which took about 30 minutes to do. After that it is all downhill from there

Nate, since you got off road x pipe and all that stuff even after the tune do u smell exhaust fumes at like the red lights or just general driving or did the tune fix that? Plz let me know

I reprod to a 93oct tune, and it really made a difference, but I can no longer use regular at all or my horse will start bucking on me! I went for the Predator, wanna try the Bama and see which one runs smoother! Any feedback on Bama vs Pred Nate?

niceee yeah I put lower octne gas in my car once and it did not perform well at all. It felt very sluggish. Sweet! Tell me how Bama is if you try it and no I have not heard anything about preditor yet

Do you have any plans to upgrade rims/tires? Id suspect those 245s on the rear end dont handle the 4.10s and nitrous very well.

Do tuners change the characteristics of ur car like an intake manifold does or does it just improve on what the car already is

A tune will calibrate your cars ECU to make better use of the modifications added, for instance, if a part is listed as having a 10 hp gain without a tune, with a tune you may be able to squeeze 15-20 HP out of said part.

I recommend get the SCT tuner WITH VMP tunes... dont waste your time with bama

How do u have 15.6 mpg??? My 2006 mustang GT is stock getting 10.3 Mpg

In the video you say “SCT with X4 tuner with BAMA tune”, but the link to american muscle in the description says “Bama X4/SF4 Power Flash Tuner w/ 2 Custom Tunes”... Is it the same thing or is the link to your tuner in the video wrong??? Please double check & see

So how do you get tunes they email it to you and you need a pc?

I have a V6 stang (08 also) but I'm planning a swap to the 4.6 3v , is there a tuner that can be used for the V6 and The GT or is the tuners only for the GT?

Of course there's a CAI and tune for the V6. Been out for many years.

Does the race tune really increase your mpg? wouldn't it decrease it since its making your car perform faster?

tuner is just a tool to add tunes to your car. you need to get a tune from a company to load onto your tuner s that you can add it to your car. Bama performance is the most popular for beginners

If you get bama tunes they walk you step by step on how to download tunes and they also have a video on it. It is super easy. it took me three minutes

campincake a simple 93 tune would be good, and for a first mod typically a good CAI like JLT, C&L and BBK. Exhaust is another, find what your budget is and plan accordingly

I upgraded my clutch/flywheel and driveshaft first. I wanted to prepare the drivetrain first. Next will be brakes. Then I will start on engine mods.

I would go with exhaust or a tune paired with a cold air intake. That will set you off on the right foot. Oh yeah tunes are the easiest mod you can ever do

Depends what else is under the hood. You should rephrase your question to more specific. Basically, the more you have under the hood...the more it will unlock. If your pony is totally stock and use the x4...is that what you're asking?
