@@SM-po9wf he has the same problem I do... It's between his ears. Nothing wrong with his swing cuz a good swing doesn't come and go. Mentality and approach is what changes. Personally I play golf SO much better by myself.

The world needs to see this. It would actually be a great segment to help people learn about the handicap system if they did it properly but, I can hear him already "waaahhhhh waaaahhhhhh, the big mean handicap police are after me.".... The only way he is a 9 is if he is cherry picking his good rounds and leaving out his bad rounds

He is a 9 handicap because anytime its within 5' he takes it as a gimmie when in reality he would miss those 75% of the time. If you add those shots to his card he's realistically a 14 handicapp

@Matt here is a basic rundown How good you are is your handicap. Let’s say Trent averages a 105 score on a par 72 so a +33. That would make him a 33 handicap. Rigs thinks he is scratch (shoots 72 on par 72) So to make things fair if Trent and Riggs are playing, Riggs will give Trent strokes. The goal is to make Riggs and Trent each have an equal shot at winning. To do this, Trent will get a -33 applied to his score divided amount all the holes (only whole numbers). So the strokes will be spread out for each hole. So with a 33 handicap golfer vs a 0 handicap the 33 handicap golfer will have 15 (-2) applied to holes and the remaining 3 will be (-1). Having a -1 applied to a hole is what is called stroking on a hole. So let’s say Trent and Riggs go on hole 1 where Trent strokes (-2 worth). If it’s a par 5, Trent shoots a 7, Riggs shoots a 5. Trent and Riggs tie the hole as after the strokes are applied, they both shot 5 for a par. For things like 2v2 individual ball match play (what they play usually, means that they each play their own ball and after the strokes are applied, whoever has the lowest score goes “1 up” on the other team. If they tie everything’s stays neutral) often strokes are slightly lessened because for high handicap players they often have “blow up” holes where they shoot a 10 or something but normally shoot let’s say a bogey on most of the holes. If they were to give him a -2 on all of those, it would be a huge advantage as your partner can cover for your blow up holes.

Sad to see all of the dead or half dead trees there in Northern MI. It looks like fall there when they are playing but it is really the middle of summer. We have a family cottage near there at Higgins Lake and it is the same. The Gypsy Moth has totally decimated the trees in that area.

I'd love to see what the 4play rider looks like before they show up to a course. Trulys, you're nicest on course housing, cigars, ect.
