I did and it was glorious, that’s what you get for not being able to adapt and rejecting a game that was never given a proper chance

Small additional detail - All Exhibits have multiple voice narrations explaining the real life history of the exhibit adding to immersion.

Even though its a Battlefield game, Hardline was primarily developed by Visceral Studios, not DICE. That being said, they did a fantastic job.

Ah, hence the Dead Space crossover event in 2042. Man, I cannot express how much it sucks that Visceral got closed down. They were a great studio with a good IP

I haven’t played hardline. But Each time I see hardline clips the map details amaze me. That title is so different than the others. It has more a cod vibe but its aesthetics looks great.

Wow! That is the most beautiful BF map I've ever seen! I never knew it even existed. Only played the beta of Hardline. Would love to see this make a comeback in the next BF game!

Man, that Rome: Total War music is bringing back memories and fit´s perfectly to the setting of the museum map

1:11 actually the map was not completely indoors. The heist mode of the map (and I believe the small scale squad heist) had the criminals team start on the roof of the map outside, one of the skylights had to be shot out to enter the building

Correct. Its the skylight above the mammal exhibit. But its such a small space its almost irrelevant. Moreso since once the vaults are cracked, everyone just spawns inside. Its a funny little technicality I didnt want to include. Good catch! :D

I will always stand by this statement. Hardline maps straight up felt like they were just as detailed as a campaign map. No matter the balancing Code Blue, Diversion, Precint 7, Downtown, The Block, Mall, China Town,The Beat, etc. all felt unique It’s a shame that Battlefield: Hardline is going to be our only Battlefield with true modern urban American warfare. I say true because, Bf4 urban warfare always felt like it was teasing. they were always in a village with the more dense areas/skyscraper in the backgrounds. Or they had the naval warfare gimmick. A HUGE example is the Chinese spawn in Lumphini Garden, Peal Marker and Sunken Dragon. I wanted to fight in those backgrounds so badly, crossing the streets and going into tall buildings. Most importantly having them being landlocked. BF3’s aftermath, Hardline and Amiens in BF1 are beautiful examples of good urban warfare.

I love this videos series. Such a shame that you still so underated with that content. I also never understood the hate against Hardline. For me personally it just felt as BF4 but just with Cops & Crooks settings instead.

First time I played this map I was blown away by the exhibits. I remember going into the planetarium and genuinely just trying to listen to the fun facts. Three guys came in and tried to kill me, so I popped a grenade and the fucking sun fell from the ceiling, exploded, and killed them all.

I wish all Battlefield games had offline bot matches like 2042, that way we’d still be able to play these older titles that have been dead for years

I wish Hardline and other older Battlefield games (Bad Company to BFV) had bots like 2042 has, fans will pretty much never be able to experience Hardline ever again but if it had bots, it would still be possible

Hardline was great. Not with 64, but in the dynamic, game-specific modes it was made for, like Heist.

Because of this I'm gonna hop on and play 👀 lol

Hardline may have had a few iissues, but this map was not one of them. In fact this map made me and a few friends realize we had been a little harsh on the game itself

Hardline has the best DLC maps of Battlefield I've played. I liked all of them. By cons, the base game's maps are the worst of any BF lmao, especially The Block. I remember The Block (hc mode) was the only server active for years on PC and I abandoned the game for that reason, now only the German server with all the maps is the only one active. Unfortunately, they did choose to split the player base with the DLC maps as they did from BF3 to BF1.

Are there other BF:H DLC maps you plan to cover for worst/best/mid tier. maps?

2042 maps will eventually make it to the series with reviews of their own. Its just one of those things where even now, game patches change the way a map works. So im waiting for everything to settle before I drop one for sure. Once support finally ends, Ill also be doing a full game review again as well.

Graveyard shift will be covered as part of a Zavod video. Death Valley will get its own as well. Right now i dont have an ETA on those. They both teeter between high-mid and best, but I wont decide the category until a script comes together.
