Aftermath DLC was my all time favourite and I still consider it to be the DLC ever released for a BF game!

I love your best/worst maps series they make me experience old maps from old BF games I hadn't have the chance to play back in the day and give knowledge about map design , thank you Gravity ❤️

Also worth praising, that unlike many of the other maps in BF 3, Azadi Palace translated extremely well into the limited PS3/Xbox version of the game. One of my absolute favourites of BF 3.

Man bf3 had so many bangers. Great vid. Just curious, when do you plan on covering bf2042's maps? Are you waiting until the end of its life cycle to cover them?

Sort of. I had every intent to cover all of the 2042 maps just after launch, but after they started reworking them i held off because I didnt want the videos to be out of date. I have plans for most of them later on, but it could be a while. The only 2 ive covered since have been Hourglass and Redacted.

Can you imagine with today's Levolution mechanics if they remade the Aftermath DLC or made a new map with actual earthquake destruction? Rather than just minor aftershocks in an already ruined environment, there would be intense earthquakes that would destroy and collapse major buildings & structures in real time, all the while players on the ground are still busy battling it out. Just like a reimagining of the Fault Line trailer, but now with real players. Excellent video again, Gravity 🔥🔥🔥

It's nice to learn about old bf games and their design and maps It some what gives perspective on how these titles used to be .

This is the map I remember from Scavenger game mode alone. Conquest was fun but I really had fun in the silly mode where you were constantly looking for the next weapon.

Real shame that the DLC maps are never as well remembered as the base ones, thus much less likely to be remade. Usually those maps end up being slightly better as the devs have learned what makes a map work

Yes. Soon, hopefully. It took me a loooong time to get enough footage and gameplay confidence to begin working on those.

Shame I never got to play BF3 in its prime, we need more Battlefield games like 3 and 4 again, this new era DICE is going in is disgusting to someone who prefers the Attitude Era of Battlefield’s class system and the Frostbite engine’s destruction physics that were surprisingly toned down with each new installment afterward And if you’re gonna make a fuckin sequel, ADD to the formula, don’t take shit away! Or substitute a tried and true system with a gimmick because you think it’ll bring more players in (fucking Operators anyone?) Bring back the Golden Age of Battlefield, I’m not even gonna beg DICE, you guys should know what we want by now and yet to tell us to get bent and deal
