I’ve been playing a ton of BF1 recently so this video was perfectly timed. Shame that these maps don’t get picked more (I’ve seen people vote for Fao Fortress over both of these smh)

I'm so glad you included Nivelle Nights. It's such an underrated map. I see it lose to inferior maps in votes way too much and it drives me insane.

Nivelle Nights is INSANELY FUN. I had my best game of Rush in all of BF1 on it. Frontlines is also awesome on it and even the to me often boring Conquest is great.

Wish players would vote for these maps more

I really liked Zavod Graveyardshift. It was an actual night and it made it really spooky at times, also the vehicle HUDs were glowing just beautifully. 👌

Was seriously looking forward to this. These types of videos are why I subbed tbh, I simply have never found another Battlefield Veteran with as much experience as you that ALSO tells it like it is and doesn't defend poorly-designed, flat-open level design simply for tradition's sake.

Battlefield one is the most beautiful battlefield. It’s also the most gritty and fun to play. I’m sad that the game isn’t as populated as it once was, it’s beautiful and the soundtrack is unbelievable. When the tide of battle is turning, and you’re on the cusp of victory and those violins go off, goosebumps city baby.

BF1 had more really good maps than other games in the series had, but not tons I would claim as best in the series, there were not many maps I didn't have a fun time on

Wrong. Zavod Graveyardshift and whatever map of whatever Refractor engine game you showed in the beginning are ACTUAL nights on maps.

Dont agree here. It was always just a cirklejerk of zerging round and round and round playing Prise de Tahure. I never really had any good games on it. Nivelle Nights on the other hand was so much better.

I respect you man but hard disagree about Nigh Maps in general: Gold Standard Legendary BF 2 Special Forces already did NM justice with Night vision (inf and vehicles), Flash Lights, Laser Sights and other gimmicks/gadgets that complimented and improved the new dim/no-lights dynamics.

I was wondering is someone would call me out on that. You are right. The intro was overblown. However it did not specifically target SF, just showed a map clip. SF DID do night maps justice because that was its intent. I will have a video rectifying this eventually.

I genuinely hate both of these maps. I have to crank my brightness all the damn way up just to be able to see shit.

Would love to see a worst maps in battlefield on some 2042 maps. I think people need to be more aware of why they are bad instead of just saying they are trash

Recent update but maps like Prise de Tahure & Devastation of recent years Vs the often praised Grand Bazaar is just well... bizare to me as the former two have great flow options with flanking while having great flow. Grand Bazaar is just basically the most generic BF game that plays awfull w/ 64 players and looks and feels bland in general.

I hate prise de tahure camping in building is optional in amiens but in prise its a must
